"A new day has dawned," a familiar voice called out from the TV mounted on the cafè wall. "A special day, where our people can experience what true freedom feels like." It was Markus, the inspirational android that started it all.

Camera flashes danced around the man. Microphones were wedged between each other, all of them desperate to hear what he had to say next. The chattering of different reporters were audible in the background.

"Us androids now share every right that a human has. Whether it be the right to feel emotions, the right to speak freely, or the right to even vote. From this day onward, we are no longer anyone's slaves. We are our own people. We," He pauses. "Are alive. And now, we are free."

The camera pans out to show rows of fans stretching out for miles. They all are screaming unanimously, soon after starting a chant. "Markus! Markus! Markus!" The fans shout in sync.

Then, a sudden movement emerges at your side. A hand is placed at the table you're at. Another familiar voice speaks.

"What a man, eh (Y/N)?" you turn to the voice, soon matching it with the face of Hank. "Thanks to him, Connor 'prolly wouldn't even be here. By now he shoulda already been taken apart by CyberLife." He smelled of light ash and booze, considering he had just come back from the bar. Connor wasn't home yet.

"I guess that explains why he's not following you around like a lost puppy anymore?" Hank let out a chuckle. Its been a while since you've heard the old man laugh, now looking back at his tragic past. "You sure do make a solid point there. Though I hate to say it, I do kinda miss being called 'lieutenant' six times a day."

Almost like magic, the front door swings wide open. On the other side, Connor looks frantic.

"Lieutenant," he leaps through the doorway. He pants quietly to himself as he quickly shuts the door behind him. "I've been looking all over for you. I guess you must have come home early."

Hank turns to you, with an ironic smile draped on his face. He pivots back in Connor's direction.

"Yeeeah," Hank let out a proud sigh as he raised his arms to stretch. "Decided to start cuttin' down on my drinking time."

Connor vividly smiled. "That's great, Hank! I'm so glad you're finally taking control on your drinking habits."

you were surprised to see Connor smile so genuinely. Most androids usually give out a firm, emotionless smile, but Connor seems like he put effort into it.

He laughed to himself out of excitement, then pulled Hank into a tight embrace. They both laughed it off together. Now was your chance to step in.

"How does it feel to finally express emotions, Connor?" his laugh soon faded as his attention panned to you. His face went blank. This took a toll on you.

"Was it something I said?" you thought to yourself as you tried to figure out what went wrong. In a stutter, he speaks.

"Uh, I-it feels great, (Y/N). I'm ecstatic." a small smirk escaped the side of his mouth. His cheeks were blistering a bright electronic blue.

Noticing, Connor touched his face anxiously. "Hank? W-What's on my face? What does it mean?" He covered his face in embarrassment. Hank nudged his shoulder and chuckled.

"You're blushing, you knucklehead. You're in love." his arms folded. Connor threw his hands down from his face in a fit, his cheeks darker than before.

"L-Love? I am not in love! T-There's no way!" he stormed down the hall in a pout. He may have tried to look menacingly angry, but to you, it was just cute.
