1, 2, 3 and step and step and leap and step. The repetition was enough to give someone a headache. Over and over again until it was nothing short of perfection. It was such a routine for these 12 dancers, that it just went right over their head. Each time they did it felt like the first, looked like the final. Just because it didn't drive the dancers absolutely mad, doesn't mean it isn't affecting the underground.
"Fuck sake!" The blonde shouted out as he threw his punch at the big red bag in the centre of the ring. "Drown 'em out, Hemmings. Focus." Ashton calls out from the corner, leaning against the ropes. "I can't fucking focus! I'm gonna tell them to be damn quieter."
Sweat glistens along the abs of the champion fighter as he walks up the stairs, huffing and puffing as if he's some sort of dragon. He adjusts his black snapback back on his head and swings the heavy metal doors open. "Hey, remember we're paying you rent? So maybe quiet the fuck down?"
The dancers just stand and look at him. Some whistles coming from the end of the studio. A scoff echoes in the silent room before a voice, much smaller than his spoke up. "Blonde curls, fit, 6 foot something unfathomable, dark blue eyes. Damn, if it isn't Manhattan's most wanted." A girl closest to the door retorts. Her dark ombre curls sit messily in a bun and her toned stomach showing slightly between the shorts and cropped top. It made it hard for the poor boxer to focus, now for something that isn't just the noise.
"Elizabeth, get back into formation please." The instructor calls out, pressing play on the music again. As the small, yet fit, dancer walks back to her place she makes an effort to turn back to the tall, beaten up boy. "Don't worry. We'll keep it down for you, champ."
The boxer smirked and leant up against the door frame, watching them perform their number. Seeing them move with such precision made his wrists twitch, reminding him how much skill went into his line of work. Every time he hit that punching bag, the sharp pain his knuckles would feel was like a relief for him. It eased the anticipation from a few seconds earlier, before he hit the bag. Or even before he entered the ring. The reminder of his work made him walk downstairs to get back to it, with the biggest smile amongst his face. Little did he know, the dancer just upstairs from his ring had the same look plastered on hers.
As the boxer walks back to his place in the ring, outstretching the ropes so he can fit between them, his close friend and trainer seems to notice the happiness on his face. "You good over there, Hemmo?" Ashton begins to walk over to the ring himself. His friend rolled his shoulders a little bit to get back into the swing of things. "Yeah, mate. Room full of dancers, just a bit overwhelming." The curly head smirks and throws another punch. A weak ass punch.
"Don't get any new ring girl ideas, man." The tall trainer takes a seat in the corner to evaluate his trainee. However, Mr. Manhattan's most wanted (Dancer's Words) made it hard for him to do so. He looked confused by the way his gaze shifted to the floor. Yet, enlighten by the glisten in his eyes. "You wouldn't." Ashton calls out once he starts to come to terms with what's going on in the Aussie's head.

"Ok guys. That's a wrap. Get some rest." The choreographer exclaimed to the group of dancers. All the girls went to the side of the room with the cubbies and their dance bags. These three girls were chatting it up when they began to approach the door. The one with smart remarks towards Luke earlier that day was the one standing in the middle. By her side were these tall girls, who by assumption, would never be considered anything remotely close to what they are. Twins.
The one left of the curly, messy headed smart ass was the first to notice the boxer's return. "Still making to much noise for you, sweat sack?"
The boxer scoffed. "Calm down there tiger." Luke gets up from his back being leant against the wall.
"It's K-"
"Called get a grip." The much smaller girl in the middle stated as she walked straight past him.
"Where you goin'?" The shirtless boy chuckled, managing to sound extra Australian in that query. Once all three of them looked back at him, they stared with anticipation. I guess being a boxer, making the audience anticipate is what he does best.
"We need another ring girl."
