Richard, Arthur, Artys never forgave Robert for killing rhaegar and his family, the reason all four of them were becoming brothers also Richard, Arthur, Artys wanted to fight alongside with rhaegar but tywin wouldn't allow it because of the insults by aerys the 2nd, Jon arryn insisted that Artys fights with his family and foster brothers, mace insisted that he need Arthur to help him besiege storms end. so none of them expect Artys who was at the battle of the trident deliberate avoid fighting rhaegar couldn't save their friend and brother or his family. so after the rebellion, Richard and Arthur and Artys plots to avenge their friend and brother also his family by putting Aegon Targaryen called Jon snow by his uncle to protect him from Robert Baratheon, on the iron throne and have him marry his aunt Daenerys when the time is right, while in Essos they manage to secure the allegiance of the golden company and recovering the Targaryen sword blackfyre for Jon to one day wield while dark sister is with maester aemon who will send it for Daenerys when the time was right. while they were fostered in dorne, they told both Doran and oberyn the truth also what they have planned to restore House Targaryen upon hearing the truth both Doran and oberyn agreed to help when the time comes and send to Sita Aegon the conquer crown for Jon.
