The End or Beginning

Start from the beginning

Getting tugged backwards, I yelp in fright and struggle to keep my balance at the sudden change of direction and pace. Having to jump over roots and shrubs, get over rocks and a small stream is hard when being pulled. My family shout after me and I glance back, tears I had held back welling up fast as I watch them running after me. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I wave with the happiest smile I can muster before being shoved into a helicopter, lifted into the air and knocked out by the handle of a gun, my tears slipping down my cheeks. The last thing I saw was my family looking up at me desperately and defeated, tears streaming down my mother's beautiful face.

******flashback end******

Slipping into the building of the organization SANDA, a square, single storied building with brown walls and a black tinned roof, dead center of a field that once, I presume, to be beautiful and full of flowers from the scattered flowers littering outside it. Making sure to keep to the shadows, such as small corners, behind barrels and crates, keeping silent, keeping my steps light and quick, breathing low and steady. My eyes scan the rooms as I cross the halls, looking for my targeted area as I slip passed guards, scientists and random soldiers. If I am about to be caught, quick jabs to the throat or strangulation, hiding the bodies in the dark corners or rooms I come across, making sure they are hidden well.

Pressing to the rough grey wall, I look behind me, then further ahead for anyone before peaking around the corner. Seeing two guards to the central command room, I take in the surroundings before heading in. Running head on for them, the first guy is taken down easily as he didn't have time to react fast enough, though I can't say that for the second guy as he had started shooting, aiming randomly as I do quick zigzag motions. Heading for a wall head on, I run up it and flip over the guy's head and land crouched behind him. Moving quickly as his still turning, I spin and knock his legs from under him, grab his gun as he falls and jab him on the temple, knocking him out.

Dropping the gun on the guy, I turn, heading to the large iron doors and punch in the code. Hearing the hiss as it opens I step into the lit room filled with dozens of computers and workers, all turned in their seats, staring at me. My long cloak hides my body and gender, as my hood shadows my face, keeping my identity hidden. "Who are you?" , a guy at one computer asks, black spiky hair and green eyes, looking innocent though I can see no innocence when I look deep into his eyes.

I answer, slowing my speech to sound darker, "The one who is ending everything and everyone here." A few look shocked, scared, confused or angry but I don't really care as I calmly walk to a computer and start hacking into the system, my hands covered in gloves.

Three gain courage and try to sneak up behind me, but I have trained for this, they haven't. Turning around fast, I knock one guy in the nose, hearing a satisfied crack, another in the groin, sending him to the floor in agony and the third pauses, taking in the fact I did this without his notice. Gulping, he backs away, keeping his eyes on me in fear. Watching him, I question monotones, "Anyone else?" Shaking their heads, I nod and face the computer again, typing fast and activating the self destruct to two minutes, before turning and walking out calmly.

The base starts counting down and all I hear is panicked screams and running footsteps of combat boots. Many people pass me, ignoring my presence as they worry for their lives as I keep my pace steady, heading for the main exit.

Upon reaching it, I see many helicopters are flying out the roof, jeeps and normal cars screech out, filled with panicking people, all hoping they will make it alive. Watching them disappear through the clouds or trees of the surrounding forest, I keep my walk into the thick foliage calm and count down the remaining seconds in my head.

Reaching a good distance, I hear the first explosion before they all go off, one after the other. The hot wind whipping my cloak around me as I continue my slow walk into the forest. Trees and bushes burn behind me as I keep my eyes ahead, blank look staring into the dark forest glowing in oranges and reds. Having no regret for killing those that got stuck in that explosion. Only one thing going through my head, 'Revenge will be sweet.'

****time skip****

Reaching the base where I work, a light grey and green two story building, dark green tinned roof, many garage doors leading to the docking bay and high windows. I walk through the main side doors and hide the slight surprise when the two front guards don't search me, having them normally not trust me in the three years I've been here, but now they seem to trust me and I can easily start my plan of revenge for what they made me do the previous day.

Walking through the corridors with the bombs they had given me to explode the base from earlier, where all I had to do was activate the self destruct, about twenty five hidden in each lose pants pocket, I secretly place the bombs around and activate them. Passing my room, I place one on the black, chipping door, with the sign, "Cyber," and smirk, turning and heading for the front.

Upon entering, my boss notices me and walks up with his mighty walk, "How was the mission?" I face him and nod to say it is done. Smirking, he nods and compliments, "Good job. I knew I could count on you." Grinning at his words, I lift my head slightly so the the light can catch my lips and the tip of my nose, he notices and raises an eyebrow, "What have you done?"

'Ah, he knows me well', I think to myself and raise my hand, holding up the control to activate the bombs, a small thin handle with the red button on top, about the size of a finger. He frowns in understanding and speaks lowly, "You will pay dearly."

Running out as he takes out his hand gun and starts shooting at me, my cloak flies up behind me as I dodge the bullets and duck behind the outer wall. Turning corners and running into the forest once again, I hide behind some rocks about thirty seven feet away.

Putting my finger to the trigger, I mumble a good riddance before pressing it. Hearing the explosions, I get up with a wider grin and start walking. Some explosions mixing with the lab chemicals create colours of red, blue, yellow and green. Not looking back once.

Now I have taken my freedom back.

It's my new beginning.
