I was sat on the sofa when German came in. I had a picture of Amelia, Violetta and I in my hand and a tiny pink teddy bear my mother and father had given Amelia when she was born. You could see I had been crying but I didn't want German to worry so I buried my head into a pillow.

He came and sat next to me and gave me a big hug, he whispered into my ear 'it's okay to cry about this, don't hide your tears. I know you miss her and there isn't a day that doesn't go by where I or you don't think about her'.  This made me cry even more.

All of a sudden German seemed to move, he got up and ran up the stairs. I just stayed where I was because I wasn't in the mood to get up. The next thing I knew German was running down the stairs carrying a big brown box, I knew what it had inside. Memories from when Amelia was with us safe and sound. Inside there were teddy bears, toys, clothing, baby blankets, drawings etc, but one drawing caught my eye.
