What if I stayed ?

Chapter 2

Why is so impossible to have a good time just for once, just once in my life. Was this too much for me? What did I do to deserve this?

What did I do to deserve this much pain ?

It's almost 5am but she's not sleeping , how could she ?

She gets up and takes her diary and starts writing.

Dear diary, why is so impossible to escape from this darkness that is surrounding me ? Why happiness is forbidden for me ? I wish I could scream right now , because it's really painful just to sit and wait while my world is falling apart on my feet. There is only thing that I want , it won't be much , I just want to say out loud from the bottom of my heart "I'm happy " even for once. But happiness is something that never happened to me and maybe never will. 

Starts crying in silence, it's not a new thing. She always cries a lot then falls asleep.

She wakes up by some noises.

Oh god , it's morning. I don't want to get out of bed.

" Where is she ? " her grandpa is screaming to her mom.

" She's sleeping , leave her alone. " her mom says to her grandpa.

She gets up and opens the door.

" what's happening ? Why are you yelling at my mom ? "

" Because I want to. Where was you last night ? When did you came ? "

" Mr. Omar's son drove me home last night , I collapsed then they took care of me. "

" You're always good at making drama, I told you not to embarrass me. But when did you listen anyway , I should let you starve. "

" You're wrong , I wasn't the one who embarrassed our family. "

" Look let me be clear with you punk , If I see you again near that guy again I won't let you live in this house anymore , both of you. " he left.

He is insane, how can someone judge others about his mistakes ?

Where did my mom go ?

" Mom , are you in the kitchen ? " she is on her way to kitchen.

" I'm here. " she answers. " did you sleep well ? "

" Mom I was worried about you , why didn't you answer my calls ? "

" Sorry, I felt asleep. " and she takes her hair behind her ear.

" Mom , what happened to your eye ? " Hayal goes near her to look.

" Oh , that... I hit it accidentally. "

" Mom , tell me the truth. Does this have to do something with grandpa? Did he do this to you ? Tell me. "

" No , No ... it's not that. I... I..."

Her grandpa came. " why are you making a lot of drama in the morning ? "

" Grandpa , did you beat my mom , did you do this to her. "

" What are you talking about ? "

" Tell me the truth , I swear to god if you..." he interrupted her while she was talking " what if I did it ? What are you gonna do ? Are you gonna kill me ? Let me tell you something kid YOU'RE USELESS JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER. "

Her face changed , she is more angry than ever. " And what about you grandpa ? I always was wondering about whom my dad is like , I just got that answer now. " Her answer left him without comment. But he got so angry. He putted his hands on her throat " tell me now , tell me your answer. " her mother screams " leave my daughter alone , get your hands off her , she tries to take his hands off , but she can't.
