[Y/N POV]
I miss him so much. It's been 2 years since I last saw him. We do chat over the internet but its just feels different. Being the CEO of a company isn't easy, he has to travel around the world to meet investors and check on his overseas business. It gets lonely sometimes. It's only me and Jae at home most of the times. "Mummy, when is daddy coming back?" Jae asked as he tugged on my sleeves while I was preparinf dinner. "In a week baby. Miss him already?" I said as I turned off the stove to pick him up. He nodded as he wrapped his tiny hands around my neck. "Sweetie I'm sure he misses you too. Let's have dinner okay? We can call daddy afterwards." He cheered happily as he ran off to the dinner table. He practically devoured his meal within 5 minutes. "Mummy I'm done can we call daddy now?" He asked as he jumped excitedly. I chuckled as I grabbed my phone as called Jaebum. "Hello baby." I heard him say over the phone. "Hi, our son here misses you a lot." I said as I gave the phone to Jae. I hear Jae speaking to his dad while I wash the dishes. After i was done, I headed back to the dining table as I saw Jae had already fallen asleep, Jaebum still on the line. "Jaebum?" I whispered into the phone not wanting to wake Jae up. "Yes princess?" He said with his soft voice which I missed so much. "Jae fell asleep, I think you were too boring." I joked as I carefully scoop Jae into my arms and heading into their room. "My voice is just like a lullaby Princess, you know you love it." He countered, i could almost see the smirk on his face. "I miss you, you're coming back next week right?" You asked as you exited the room after placing Jae in bed. "About that... I can't make it next week." He said nervously. "But it's Jae's Birthday next week, you promised you would come back to celebrate it with him." You said as you felt disappointment rush over you. "I know baby but I need to meet a big client, I'll send some gifts okay? I'm sorry okay?" He apologized. You missed him so much. He promised Jae to spend his birthday with him this year after missing his previous birthday. Jae would be sad if he found out that he won't be able to make it this year too. "It's okay, I'll tell him." I said. "I have to go okay? Love you." He said through the phone. I was about to reply him but he had already ended the call.

He must be really busy. Just then, a notification popped up on my phone. Thinking that it was Jaebum that texted me, I immediately clicked in but it was Jungkook. He's like a brother to me. Ever since I met him when I first came to Korea, he have been taking care of me. He would help me to babysit Jae when I had to run errands.

(ignore the timing)

~The Next Morning~
"Good morning, did my little prince sleep well?" I asked as I carried him out of bed. He nodded as he rubbed his eyes. I place him on the floor and get him to go wash up. When he came down to the living room, he sat down on the table to eat his breakfast. "Uncle Jungkook will be picking us up later, he say misses you." You told him as you were eating your breakfast. "Really?! Yay!" He smiled from ear to ear. Do I tell him now? That Jaebum wouldn't be here on his birthday? "Baby, Daddy wouldn't be able to make it for your birthday. He has a lot of work to do. You'll understand him right?" I said as I observed his reaction. His smile started disappearing as it turns into a frown. "But he promised." He murmured as he looked down at his plate. "But I understand he's busy." He said again as he looked at me with a weak smile.

[Jaebum POV]
I'm so excited to see her. I lied to her that I wouldn't be coming back so early because I wanted to surprise her. The deal went pretty well so the business trip was cut short. If there are no flight delays, I should be home by 6.

[Y/N POV]
Time passed by quickly as I heard the door bell ring. Knowing that it was Jungkook, Jae ran up to the door as he swings it open. "Uncle!" He jumped into Jungkook's arms the moment he saw him. "You've grown taller warrior." Jungkook said as he carried Jae in his arms. "Ready to go?" He asked as I nodded putting on my shoes and closing the lights and locking the door while Jungkook helped Jae with his. The date between Jae and Jungkook begun with me being a thirdwheel.

[Jaebum POV]
It was around 7 when I reached the doorstep. I knock on the door, feeling the blood rush through my veins. I was so excited to finally see my son and my beloved wife after 2 years. However, after several knocks, no one came to open the door. Feeling worried, I whipped out my keys and entered the house, only to be welcomed by complete emptiness and no sign of my beautiful family. Maybe they went out for dinner. I waited and waited until it was 10. They couldn't possibly be out for dinner so long. I took out my phone to call her but it couldn't get through. Feeling worried, I grab my jacket, ready to head out to find her. But just when I was about to open the door, I heard a car pull over infront of the house. I peeped through the hole in the door and saw a guy exiting the car. He went to the other side and opened the car door. Y/N, my beautiful wife emerged from the car as she made her way to carry out a sleeping Jae from the car. They were laughing and talking happily. I felt a pain in my chest. Who is that guy? Why is she with him?  "Thank you Oppa, we had fun today." I vaguely hear her say as he smiled at her. They waved goodbye as Y/N started making her way to the door. She was struggling to get her keys out from her bag so I opened the door for her. "J-Jaebum?" She stood there staring at me with her wide eyes as her mouth tilted up into a smile. Jae woke up from the noise as I saw him rubbing his eyes. "Appa! You're back!" He squealed as he reaches out for me. I carried him over as I smiled at him while Y/N closed the door. "I miss you my prince, go take a shower?" I said as I put him down. He nodded as he ran to take a shower. I felt a hand wrap around my waist from behind. "I miss you so much." I heard her say as she rested her head on back. I turn her around placing a kiss on her forehead. "I miss you too baby." I felt my t-shirt getting wet. I lifted her head and I was shocked to see tears in her eyes. "Baby why are you crying?" I panicked as I started wiping her tears away. "I just miss you so much and i can't believe you're finally back." She said between sobs. I smiled as I caressed her cheeks. "Y/N, who was that guy?" I ask her I felt her calm down.

[Y/N POV]
"You mean Jungkook? He's my friend." I answered him with my head still buried in his chest. "Oh okay, you guys seems close." He said. I looked up at him, hands still around his waist. "Oppa, is something wrong?" I questioned as I saw his expression. "It's just you seem so close to him and you looked so happy with him-" I cut him off as I placed a kiss on his lips. "Oppa I love you okay? You don't have to be worried." I said as I saw his smile starting to form. "You're mine and only mine you understand?" He said as he place a kiss on my neck, arms wrapped around my waist. I nodded as I looked into his eyes saying those words that made him lose his overprotectiveness at once. "You're my only one."
