It's my first day in school today. Moving from Singapore to Korea isn't easy, leaving my friends and family behind. I'm looking forward to school though, I came here for a reason. To make my wish come true. I wasn't the prettiest, I have acnes on my skin and my features did not meet the society's standards of beauty but it doesn't bother me. I'm sure confidence is all that matters, confidence makes you beautiful. When I entered the school everyone turned and looked at me. People started whispering and talking behind my back. "Look at her skin, she should start wearing makeup." "She doesn't have any figure." I'm used to this. People criticizing me just because I don't obey by the society's standards of beauty. I'll prove to them that not everything is about being a pretty face, I'll focus on what I came here for. I went to the General Office to get my schedule for the day but not without obstacles. As I was walking to the office, I ran into someone. I could hear him scoff as I raised my head up feeling embarrassed. "I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to." I continuously apologised as I met the eyes of the person I bumped into. When I looked up, I saw him. The person I came here for. He didn't say a word as he continued staring at my face. "Hey you okay?" I said as I wave my hands in front of his face. "Oh yeah yeah, sorry I zoned out. Are you okay?" He asked as his cheeks redden. I chuckled as I replied him, "I'm fine, thank you." We just stood there awkwardly until he spoke. "I'm Yugyeom by the way." He said as he brought his hand forward. "Y/N... " I replied as I shook his hand. I suddenly remembered that I was supposed to go to the General Office. "I'm sorry I have to go get my schedule, I'm new here. Sorry for bumping into you." Just when I was about to run away, he stopped me by grabbing onto my arm. "I could bring you there, it's not easy finding your way around here." He said as he slowly release me from his grip. How could you be so stupid? I don't even know where the General Office is. I nodded as he signalled me to follow him. "So... where you from?" He asked me still looking in front. "I'm from Singapore." I replied as we continued making our way to the office. "Why are you here?" He asked again. "To study of course, and to achieve my goals." I said as if it was a matter of fact. "And we're here. See you around?" He looks at me expectantly as I nod and wave him goodbye.

~Time Skip~

We have been dating for about 2 months now. Yes, Yugyeom and I. He's really sweet and kind. A lot of people have been gossiping about how he deserves better, that I was not good enough for him but he always stood by me, telling me how much I meant to him and looks doesn't matter. His friends were also very accepting, they protected me whenever someone tried to hurt me. "Hey babe, are you coming over tonight?" A excited Yugyeom popped up beside me. "You scared me asshole but yes I'm going over. Why? Miss me already?" I teased him as I stared innocently into his eyes. "You know that I'll always miss you." He said as he planted a kiss on my forehead. We walked out of the school with our hands interlocked as we made our way to his house.

~At Yugyeom's House~
"Y/N, we have been dating for 2 months now but I realised I don't know much about you." He said as he held both of my hands. "My life is really boring though." I joked around with him but when I meeg his pleading eyes I gave in. "Fine, I'm from Singapore blah blah blah you know about all those. I used to have a sister, she was beautiful but bullying caused her to give up on her life. She had such a bright future." I said as Yugyeom reach for my cheeks, wiping away tears that fell unconsciously. He pulled me into a hug as he whispered comforting words into my ears. "I'll always be here for you no matter what. I love you." He said as he continues rubbing my back. I was shocked to hear him say that. I love him I really do but life's a bitch, sometimes loving someone isn't so easy. Despite that I manage to force out a 'I love you too.' We held each other close for the rest of the night. When I felt him drifting to sleep, I used my finger to trace his features. "If only things were different, if only you weren't the one that hurt her. I could have love you with all my heart."
