In Afghanistan
Steve's POV
So we just landed in Afghanistan and I am worried sick about Cath.
Right now we are just waiting for the NCIS LA team to get here.

About an hour later they arrived and we immediately went to work. We also meet some people from Afghanistan to help us translate and all.

We first went to the camp. We search for any clues that might help us..... but so far? We got nothing. So we just went around the site but we still got nothing.

Couple hours later, one of the people there said that there is a house where one of the Taliban lives.

I ordered Chin to go with Deeks (Kensi's partner if you don't know) to go in to the house. Deeks was really angry because he wants to get his partner back, but we can't let him get too emotional and snap or something like that. We also sent one of the Afghan people to help them translate.

On the other hand, Danny, Kono, Lou, Sam, Callen, and me will go search for Cath and Kensi.

*hours later*
(After the rescue)

Nobody's POV
The NCIS and Five 0 team rescued Cath and Kensi successfully. They are now being checked for their injuries.

Deeks's POV
I saw Kensi coming out of that hospital with bandages everywhere and she looks broken.
Jack and her were talking about something when I approach them.
"...See you later." I heard Jack said. "Take care of her." Jack said to me. I just nodded. After a small talk, she just fell into my embrace so fragile and broken. All I could do was to comfort her until she calmed down.

Steve's POV
I waited inside the tent for Cath. I felt really bad for her.
*Catherine comes in
"Hey" I said. "You okay?" She just shook her head no, almost crying. "Shhh, it's okay. Come here." I said while pulling her into a hug. "It was really bad." She cried. "Shhh, it's okay, you're safe now."

*back in Hawaii*
We just got back from Afghanistan yesterday. And I'm back at my house. I wanted to accompany Cath, but she insisted that I needed some rest.

Nobody's POV
She's been tossing and turning and screaming for 2 straight hours. But the nightmares have not passed. She knows she needed him, but she still doesn't want to bother him. After about another hour, she decided she will try and go back to sleep.

3 hours later
"No, no, no, leave us alone. Nooo, please." She jerked up from her bed crying. She can't handle the nightmares anymore.

*ring* *ring* *ring*
"Hello?" Steve said sleepily. "Oh, sorry, did I wake you up?" "Ca-Catherine? No, no, you didn't." He lied. "Something wrong?" "Um, can you come over?" She said. "Uh yeah sure. I'll be there in 15 minutes." He replied.

Cath's house
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"Hey, you okay?" Steve asked. "Umm, just nightmares." She replied. "Can't sleep huh?" He asked again. She just nodded.
Catherine then opened the door wider to let Steve in and walk into her bedroom."Every time I close my eyes, I just see their faces, wanting to torture me." Cath said in the verge of tears. "Shh... It's okay. You're safe now. They're not here anymore. They're gone." Steve said. "I know, it's just the nightmares and memories won't go away." All Steve could do was to hug and comfort her. Catherine finally dozed off about an hour later. Steve wanted to go and sleep in her couch outside her room. But he heard her mumble something "don't go please." So he decided to sleep on the chair beside her bed, it wasn't comfortable but he will not leave her side, and sleeping beside her doesn't feel right just yet.
