After waiting in the hotel room for days, waiting for the girl to wake up I was growing restless. I was bored, but I didn't want to leave her here alone. I watched as she silently laid on the bed her eyes moving under their lids, I stood and sat beside her, touching her hand curling my fingers over her still hand.
I sat down beside her holding her hand in my lap and brushed some hair away from her face. When I felt it the twitch of her fingers curling around mine, I watched amused as her eyes snapped open replacing the once crystal blue was a vivid bloody red.
She looked startled at best, her right hand grabbing at her throat, her mouth opening and closing as if she wanted to say something but couldn't for once the words wouldn't come out. She had jerked her hand away from mine.
Alistair walked into the room holding a knocked out teenage boy. "Darling I'm home-" he smirked "and I brought take out." He threw the boy onto a chair in the corner, walking over and standing behind me to look at the newborn laying in the bed her eyes solely on the boy in the corner chair.
He places his hand on my shoulder "Well are you going to let her up?" I noticed I still had a tight hold on her hand.
I helped her sit up "Do you know what you are? What we are?" I question she looked at me with eyes of a questioning curiosity, she seemed confused and scared as she stared into my red eyes. Her gaze flickered between Alistair and I.
