Chapter 29 'Spring-Break'

Start from the beginning

That night I walked over to Nathan house with an empty stomach. Man I am so hungry! Beside ringing the doorbell like a normal person I opened the door and walked straight into the kitchen to be greeted by Mrs. Johnson. "Hello Lydia are you all packed for the trip yet?" "Yep I am already packed. I am so excited to go to New York!"

A little bit later Megan came in to join us and the three of us were talking in the kitchen. Mainly thinking of the stuff that we are going to do in New York. I may have mention this before but I am so excited for the trip.

"YOU TWO BOYS ARE JUST A DISAPPOINTMENT!"

I flinched at the booming voice of Mr. Johnson. I turned around to see Mr. Johnson walking into the kitchen with Liam and Nathan barely being able walk behind him. Nathan face lit up when he finally noticed me. I am so not letting him near me until that boy showers.

During dinner Mr. Johnson was mainly lecturing the boys about getting into more shape for next year. If I was a child in the family I will be a disappointment. I zoned out most of the time, but started paying attention once Nathan was explaining how they are short one player for the game tomorrow.

"Liam if you would please just fill in for tomorrow. That is all I ask of you."

"No"

"Please!! I love you bro."

"Nope!"

"I will pay you. Just fill in and play for Tom, you are the only guy in school that is capable of making it on the team and who didn't join. We need you Liam."

I glanced over to Megan to give her a signal to do something to stop Liam and Nathan. I mean there is just 8 words she could say that will stop the fight. "I think guys who play football are hot!" said Megan while twirling her hair. I started to grin once the look on Liam face changed. "Alright Nathan I will only play for this one game."

"So Nathan and Lydia how is the cafe going?" asked Mrs. Johnson "Oh its going great we are done painting it and setting everything up. While we go to New York you guys can start doing what you guys need to do to start up the cafe." I informed her. Mrs. Johnson seemed happy with the progress we told her.

After dinner, Nathan took me up to go to his room. Taking a look around his room I noticed in a way Nathan changed his room. There were a whole bunch of pictures of Nathan and I all over his room. Also who could forget a little display of his signed football.

"So the jersey that you want me to wear tomorrow?" I asked him.

"Yeah that could wait till later...." Nathan then lean down to me and kissed my forehead, down to my nose, just until he met my lips. I then pulled away from Nathan while also giving him a little push. "Nathan you know I have to leave soon so can I please have the jersey now?"

Nathan just rolled his eyes at me but then he did go to his closet to look for the jersey. As he was going through his closet I went ahead and jumped down on his bed. Before I could do anything else Nathan threw his jersey at me. I was a light blue one which is one of our school colors.

"Um thanks, I will see you tomorrow then?" I said as I got off his bed.

"Wait I will walk you back to your house." He offered me.

"Alright, lets go!"
