After everybody went home, I helped Mrs. Johnson cleaned up the house but there wasn't much to do. I then went ahead to go brush my teeth and change into my PJ's. I walked into bonus room with 3 boys playing a stupid video game. Nathan then handed his remote over to Mason and walked over to me. "Hey, you tired yet?" I smiled at him and wrapped my arms around him. "Yeah a little bit, but if you want to go and play the game with the guys then go ahead." "Lydia, are you sure? I can go to bed with you if you want to." He was really nice to offer that but its not too fun to hang around guys playing video games.

Later that night, Megan and I sat in the kitchen making hot chocolate. Every time we have sleepovers hot chocolate is the main thing we have to have. "So how are you and Liam?" I asked her. "Well good I guess. I mean we just started but he is paying more attention to a video-game than me." I was quiet for a moment. I mean they should be together right now at the fireplace or something, but he is playing a game that I got him! I quickly ran upstairs to find Liam still haven't moved an inch from the couch. I pulled the remote control away from his hand. This is most likely will be one of the worst mistake that I will ever make in my lifetime. The face that Liam made though, I mean it is really scary. The veins popped out of his neck, his eyes busted out of his head, and his face was tomato red. Before I did anything else, I gave Liam his remote back and disappeared  right out of the room.

I ran back down to the kitchen with no breath left-dang, I am out of shape right now. Megan gave me a concerned look wondering what happened upstairs. Instead of giving her an explanation of what just happened I just sat back down and enjoyed my drink.

I woke up in the morning feeling terrible, ugh this always happen after a party. I just feel tired and always wakes up with a headache. I went to the bathroom to get some aspirin, I opened the door. My eyes popped open I found Liam in there! "Lydia! GET OUT!" "SORRY!" I yelled. I quickly shut the door and ran downstairs. I came into the kitchen with Megan laughing her head off. Well at least I am fully awake now. I went to go sit down next to Nathan trying to hold in his laugh. I elbow him right in the stomach for the heck of it. "What was that for?" he asked trying to sound completely Innocent. "You do know what that was for! So don't even think you are innocent."

A few minutes later Liam came downstairs, I stared down at the table trying not to make any eye-contact with Liam after the little incident. "Lydia just to let you know there is a little thing called knocking. Have you ever heard of it?" Megan broke out into a big grin getting ready to laugh out loud again. "Liam, did you know that on a door there is a magical item called a lock. And that will close the bathroom door and won't let anyone from the outside get in." I said with my voice dripping of sarcasm. Liam glared at me before walking away. I feel very satisfied at this rate.

While eating breakfast, Mason spoke up. "So what should we do for New Years?" "Oh we should stay home and watch Ryan Seacrest host the New year party in New York." Added Megan. "I seconded that." I included. "I say we go downtown to celebrate it, you know at a bar or something." Mason is always the type of person who would love to go out and party. Once a party person, always a party person.  "Mason not everybody here is old enough to go out to a club or bar for your info." Mason then rolled his eyes at me. "I know, I'm not that dumb. That's why we go to the one Drew goes to he can get us all in." Of course, we would go to Drew for this situation.

I am still surprised that everybody-but me, actually wanted to go out for New Years. Call me a buzz kill but I like spending time at home. This will be one heck of an experience, being 17 and already going out on New Years night.

"Lydia aren't you excited for New Years?" Megan asked me. I just gave her a simple shrug. "I mean come on Lydia, What about the kiss at Midnight you use to always talk about back then?" I smiled at that. In freshmen year I use to have this dream about having the perfect night on New Years and getting a kiss at midnight it was something with my bucket list that I have. Not going to lie but I still kind of want that. But there is no way I will ever admit that to somebody. On New Years day I will just let it happen.
