I hate mornings.
No matter what you do, I'd always hate mornings. Be it my birthday or my most awaited wedding day, I'd always hate mornings.
"Wakey wakey!" I felt someone remove the warm duvet covering my body. I immediately felt cold.
"Five more minutes." I whispered, doubting if anybody heard it. I reached for the duvet and covered myself again.
"C'mon Savy, wake up!" I groaned and sat up with my eyes still closed.
"Vander's going to drive you to school, right Vander?" Someone entered the room and I heard rhe opening of my closet. I opened one of my eyes and saw Vander roll his eyes.
"C'mon let's get you ready." He said as I pouted and wrapped my hands around his neck, almost stangling him. I gestured for him to carry me, leaving him no choice but to carry me into the bathroom.
I love being carried around and I love it more when people involuntarily carry me around. I have a small and fragile-looking body so many people don't hesitate.
I leaned on his shoulder and tried to get some more sleep. I felt him lean and splash really cold water across my face. I flinched as soon as the water made contact with my face.
I leaned on him and he chuckled. "Why'd you change your cologne? I like honey dew!" I complained while sniffing more of his cologne.
"I didn't know that you sniff me." He chuckled with a smug face. i swung my feet telling him to put me down. When my feet reached the floor, I came face to face with his chest — I mean face to chest.
"Why can't I be as tall as you?" I asked, feeling annoyed because I am as small as an ant, standing 5'4. And he— he is as tall as the one o Jack and the Beanstalk, I am not talking about the giants but the actual beanstalk. Standing 6'0.
"Because you never drink your milk, little one." He winked at me and pinched my cheeks, playing with it. There are cons of being small, take for example people stereotype you as a weakling just because you're small. I maybe small but I can deal with people in the hardest way possible.
"I'm ok being small as long as you're ok being beaten by a small girl." I smirked at him. My smirk faded as soon as I felt him splash very cold water on me. I returned it with a splash too.
People always get the wrong idea when I'm with Vander. They think I'm in a relationship with him. Sometimes I like messing with people, telling them that I am in a relationship with him—a friendship kind of relationship. And also, Vander and I—we can't be together, we only think of each other as siblings nothing more nothing less.
"Uh-oh." I said trying not to laugh. Because Vander accidentally splashed some water on Ally, my butler.
"Vander, get out." He said calmly as Vander lowered his head. "And you, prepare." Before leaving, Vander messed with my hair and sprinted out.
I took a long and warm bath. Afterwards, I brushed my teeth and wrapped the towel on my body. I opened the door ever so slightly and peeked. I decided to step out and walk into my room since I saw that the coast was clear.
Laying on top of my well-made bed was my hideous outfit. And by hideous I mean trying hard nerdy outfit with matching glasses, fake retainers and a brunette wig. I have a pastel violet hair color, that's why I have to wear it.
But how can anyone not suspect me? I mean really, a wig?!
I sighed and rolled my eyes as I picked up the outfit.
I zipped the baggy pants and buttoned up the blouse shirt that was 2 sizes bigger than me. I tried making the wig look like real hair. I also had a hard time putting the retainers into its place.
I sighed in contentment when I finally put the retainers into its place. But rolled my eyes to see my appearance.
Normal Savanna wouldn't dare wear anything like this. This is too outragous for her.
I rolled my eyes once more and headed out. As soon as I stepped out of my room, I bumped into a wall. Oh wait, it wasn't a wall, it was Vander.
He looked at me for a while and then burst into a fit of laughter. He closed his eyes while laughing and wiped some tears from his eyes.
He opened his eyes to look at me, he started laughing again. This time he was clutching his stomach and pointing his finger at me.
"Stop it." I crossed my arms and pouted. I turned to face Ally but he was just staring blankly at the wall across him.
"Can't I just wear normal everyday clothes? I mean they won't know that it is me. It's not like they know who I am or anything." I waved my hands into the air to explain things.
"Young mistress, the Master already discussed this with you."
"But,"
"No but's." I pouted again and turned around.
"Aww, nerdy Savy is just like real Savy." Vander bear hugged me. He lifted me up and I yelped in excitement. He may bully me but he's still like an overprotective brother who doesn't want his little sister to be sad. He always cheers me up by hugging ne or lifting me or feeding me. Yes, food is life.
"Woah there, little one gained weight." He put me down and faked like he's head hurts.
I punched him on his stomach. He stepped back and tumbled a little.
"Woah there little one, I don't want to be sent to the hospital 5 times in a row." He chickled and rubbed the place where I punched him.
"And we wouldn't want another visit, would we?" I smirked at him and he messed with my hair.
After 5 minutes of chit chatting, I grabbed a granola bar, an apple, a slice of bread and a chocolate I found laying in the fridge. Yes, that much food and I'm still hungry.
We got inside Vander's car and waved at Ally who was standing on the door, staring at us. No matter what I do, Ally would always keep a straight face.
I opened my granola bar and started eating it. The car stoppped when there was a red light. Then I opened my chocolate and ate it together with my granola bar.
We were riding in comfortable silence because Vander knows that you shouldn't disturb Savanna Knight when eating.
I moaned when I discovered that granola and chocolate make a good pair.
"Mmmm..." I closed my eyes and savoured the sweet and wheaty flavors in my mouth. I opened my eyes and saw Vander loiking at me, amused.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled quetly.
After a while, the car came into a halt and i noticed that we stopped in front of the school. I groaned and finiched my bread and apple.
Chewing is considered workout for me.
Vander parked the car and he got out. He circled the car and finally opened my door. There are no students wandering around since it's already 9:34 and I guess the bell rang already.
I groaned and stepped out of the car. I pouted and puppy eyed Vander. I know that I insisted my father to let me go to a school, because I habe been homeschooled my whole life. But I didn't want him to let me attend a school in a disguise.
"Go on Savy, you don't want to miss your classes." He smiled teasingly at me. I am kind of jealous at him, he's already graduated while I am stuck in school for a year.
Yep, I'm a senior.
And yep, he's one year ahead of me.
I grabbed onto the car door as Vander pushes me to go to class. I tightened my grip onto the door but he lifted me a little causing me to yelp and let go of the door.
He placed me down and away from the door. I pouted at him as he pushed me towards the school's entry.
"Well then, good bye little one!" He said and blew a kiss to me. He jogged back to his car and drove out.
Here goes nothing.
