The trip to the palace was shorter than I had anticipated. It took us no less than 20 minutes to finally arrive at our destination, The Palace. As much dreaded I was to see the King, I was even more tensed at the thought of messing things up, the proper way of talking, principles and what not. We were greeted by heavily armoured guards with all sorts of weapons stuck on their outfit. I mean armour.

"My ladies," a person with long mustache hanging from his chin and dressed really formally bowed to us. I stood clueless of not knowing what to do next.

Maybe I should just bow back?

I bowed hesitantly since I wasn't quite familiar with the etiquettes of Goryeo era.

"The king and the General still hasn't arrived at the breakfast table, please let me guide you to the table, my ladies," he smiled, then turned his gaze towards me which lingered for a second. But he seemed like someone I had seen before, and I was quite sure of it.

Why do I feel kinda Ike I met you before?

We were also accompanied by some guards which was probably because of the high security in the palace. The passage of the palace was quite disturbing. After a couple of lefts and rights, we finally arrived at the breakfast table. It was a long table more like the ones we often see in mafia movies. The table was full of different dishes and all sorts of drinks. But the seats were completely empty.

"The Kings coming, All hail to The King of Goryeo, " the minister, as I supposed by seeing his actions said while bowing. Mom whispered me to bow again. But as soon as I returned to my actual posture, to my horror, the Great King of Goryeo was standing right before in front of me. I could swear my heart was beating like those marathon runners.

I've only seen you in dramas but seeing you in person is frightening as hell.

I gulped and kept my gaze down.

"Your Majesty, I see that you have arrived. Please pardon my younger daughter for her unlikely behavior. She has been quite ill." My mother spoke up as she bowed deeply to the king. I was afraid she might have starting to get cramps for bowing so down.

"Oh no, Lady Hoon. I've heard about her condition. And I see your daughter is as mannerful and beautiful young lady as I always seen her," the king smile at me.

What should I do? What should I do?

"Thank you for your gracious comments, your Majesty." I said, barely above a whisper and bowed really deeply. As I got up on my back, the king seemed to be amused by my actions as I saw a little smile on his face.

Soon the room started to get fuller with all the princes. Then suddenly, Chayoung's words played in my mind.

"The king married a lot of princesses and Noble ladies, I think about 16 to keep his power conserved. They are mostly of Goryeo but some of them are from China and Japan as well. So it makes the king have about 20 prince and 8 princesses. Only the ones applicable for the throne stays at the palace, others have their own houses."

I looked at the princes around me to once again memorize their faces. I instantly recognized Eun for his baby face. Beside him was another prince with a tanned skin, the one who seemed to be close to Han Seon.

What was the name? Jung?

"Oh, look! It's our Han Seon! Will you play with me after breakfast?" He gave me a bright open smile. I couldn't help but smile at his cuteness.
