*Jack's POV*

Finally Heath was over! All we did was meet Tooth (well everyone else did) and she told us what we were going to do for the rest of the term. Sadly it was about the human bone structure (aka teeth)

"So I'm guessing she's one of your other house mates?" Rapunzel asked.

"Sadly yes." I grumbled. Merida laughed.

"Well anyway Punzei and I have Dramma so bye." Merida dragged a rather confused Rapunzel away.

"So I guess that means we have Gym... Great." Hiccup said sarcastically.

"C'mon it's not that bad." I said walking behind him.

"It is when you have a fake leg and your stupid dad can't be bothered to write a note to get you out of it." He had a...

"Man I didn't know about that sorry." I looked at Hiccup who was glaring at his feet. He shook his head as if to say 'don't worry about me'.

"If you don't mind me asking, how'd you lose it?" He stopped walking.

"In a car accident two years ago." He kept walking making sure his fringe covered his eyes.

"Hiccup..." I grabbed onto his arm.

"... Why don't we ditch?" I suggested. He looked up at me.

"Have you ever ditched?" He asked.

"Yeah..." I looked down.

"Anyway, c'mon the key to ditching is to wait in the bathrooms until class starts then leave." I whispered and dragged him to the nearest bathroom.

*Hiccup's POV*

"Well that was... Fun?" I puffed. It's kinda hard to run on a fake leg okay?

"Yeah... Haha." Jack laughed awkwardly. So basically we had just ran out of school to the nearest park.

"So what do you wanna do now?" We sat on the swings.

"I don't know but nothing physical, my leg is killing me." He laughed and nodded.

"Hey jack. What if someone you know is teaching Gym?" I asked.

"No one would be. Tooth is doing Heath, Kangaroo is doing art, my dad is probably doing language and sandy can't teach." He looked up at the sky and smiled.

"What about your parents, what do they do?" He looked over at me.

"My dad makes cars and my mum... She died when I was little, in a car crash... I was in the car and I was lucky to survive..." I looked down making sure my hair covered my eyes. Hiccup you can't cry you'll look weak!

"I don't remember my parents, I mean my real ones. My dad, North adopted me when I was 5. Apparently they drowned..." He sighed and looked down.

"I guess we both have parent issues huh?" I chuckled sadly...

"Yeah..."

*Jack's POV*

"Where were you guys!? You missed science! The teacher Mr. Pitch is a creep!" Punzie exaggerated.

"And a perv." Merida added. We laughed.

"Sorry, we ditched gym but lost track of time." I said awkwardly scratching behind my head.

"Why'd ya skip?" Merida asked. I looked over at Hiccup.

"Um... I couldn't do it because of my leg." He shrugged.

"Why doesn't your pare-" I stood behind Hiccup and shook my head furiously making Rapunzel shut up.

"Oh sorry what where are you saying?" Hiccup asked.

"Oh it's nothing." She shrugged off. Thank god!

"Anyway in science..." I didn't bother to listen what they were saying and zoned out.
