Chapter - 5

Fell

"Gauri and Dakshi were right", was the one that suddenly clicked my mind.

He had that unsaid aura. I couldn't decipher what it was but he had some magnetism, I agree.

His blue orbs, I didn't know how it deepened sometimes and became lightened all of a sudden. Truly mesmerizing.

Unknown cosmic ardour had hit me I guess. Without even thinking twice, I asked him for his number. Anyone who had known me well, would have obviously thought that the one standing was none other than a duplicate.

I could see that fright. But it didn't take him much time to give his number. He was waiting for mine, I think.

"Fine, I'll call you"

That frown was worth watching. I had nothing to say.

"So shall we move?", I asked.

He just hummed.

I had already sensed the deep gaze of my family. They and their impatience, can't be tackled.

Gauri was eying me. But I decided to show no expression. She literally dashed over all to run to my side. "Crazy girl", I murmured to myself but unfortunately she heard it.

"Tell me. You like Jiju na?" Her eyes had much glittering. She started pestering me. Still I remained quiet.

"Shivaay, tell us what have you decided?", his Dadi asked breaking the silence.

He looked at me for once and smiled. Well, it was understood by all.

His cousins, sorry his brothers were so happy and they jumped over him. He had lost his balance because of the sudden pounce, I could see that.

"Anni??", my mom raised her brows.

I didn't have to think a lot this time.

"Yes"

It was Gauri's turn. She got me into a tight hug that I had to literally push her to take a breath.

My mom and dad were surprised. No, shocked would suit much. Soon as they got out of the shock, I could see a light smile on their face. My mom being a little emotional, had welled her eyes.

All were happy. Shivaay and I were exchanging looks now & then.

"Tell me what you both talked? What Jiju said? Tell me na Di", she asked abandoning me from the gang.

"Nothing and more over why should I tell you? It's personal", I tried sounding somewhat rude.

"Personal haan!! Oh hello! There is nothing such things between us", she began her usual thing.

"Not anymore darling. You will understand when you get your wedding fixed"

Mom didn't allow us to continue our banters. "Thank God", I whispered myself for saving me.
