NOTE: I do have tons of knowledge of cars and street racing, but I tried my best to make it so those of you who don't know about them to make it easier to understand. If you are having trouble with something or I didn't make it clear and easy enough to read, just let me know and I'll fix it.

Also, this is just a Prologue. It's something that you don't have to read, so I'll probably delete it later. It was just something that I needed to write to get my thoughts down.

Prologue

Most girls my age are all about fashion and gossip. They wonder about what styles are in and what to do to make Johnny, their long time crush, notice them.

Most even play sports, like soccer or volleyball. I tried to. Wasn't my thing.

My sport and lifestyle is the street scene. Cars. Racing. Adrenaline. All of that and more.

At first, I just loved cars. My father taught me the maintenance of them. I was twelve when he showed me how to change the oil and tires. That escalated into simple tricks to modify a car, like changing the intake or radio head and speakers.

I was content with that.

That all changed when I met Dan. He showed me a whole new world and introduced me to the street scene.

Cars became about speed and performance, pushing the car to it's limits.

We became close as he showed the mechanics of tuning and modifying a car. It was all math and being smart with the parts that you changed. Everything has a purpose and if it didn't, it was either gone or modified to have one.

I wasn't like other girls, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
