"I don't want to spend his money." I said.
"I'm forcing you to. I won't allow you to go back to HQ without spending his money."
I sighed. I knew there was no way of not doing what she said. She was stubborn that way. What did I want? What could I buy that would make Hanji take me back to HQ but also not break Levi's bank. Or better question, since when did Levi care about me to give me his wallet and tell me to go out and buy something?!

{Levi's Point of View}
It was now evening and everything was prepared. The gifts, cake, and decorations. I watched as all cadets hid to surprise (Your name). I wasn't going to be at the party. I was actually going to put the first I brought her in her lab and than go back to my office to do some paperwork. I don't know why but I just didn't want to see her when she got surprised. Maybe a part of me was just scared she wouldn't like it.
I turned and made my way to my office to pick up my gift to her and than I went to her lab. Upon walking in I took in every detail of her lab. I walked in here a few times but I never actually took the time to look at it in detail. Everything was picked up but it was dusty. Almost as if she rarely used anything. The only thing that wasn't so dusty was her desk and the materials on it.
There she had several notebooks open. I took a look at her writing and saw everything was reports, research, and math to back up a lot of her work. There were a couple of books as well. I picked them up and read the titles.
Introduction to organic chemistry. Experimental physical chemistry. Elements of fractional distillation. Pyrometry.
I silently chuckled to myself. Nerd. She always was smart. I don't even understand half these words. Yet I wanted her to be my nerd.
I placed the gift I got for her on her desk and laid my note on top of the box. Breathing in the air of her lab once more, I walked out and made my way back to my office.

{Reader's Point of View}
"Haha. You guys. Why didn't none of you tell you were making a surprise party for me?" I asked a few of the cadets as I took a sip from my cup. I had just been surprised by a surprise birthday party and it had immediately cheered up my slightly down mods.
"It wasn't us." Armin, a cadet I knew well for his brains, said. "It was Captain Levi. He noticed you looked sad so he wanted to surprise you."
Levi? He did this. I smiled knowing this was all his doing. He really did care didn't he?

It was time for all the cadets to head to bed. They said Levi said they could stay up but I didn't care if he did or didn't. They needed to rest before they trained in the morning.
I picked up a few of the decorations and then grabbed a slice of cake. I hadn't seen Levi and thought he might want one. Plus I had to return his wallet. Speaking of, I should wear the dress I brought using his money so he would know what I brought.
I decided to head over to my lab first which had my bedroom connected to it, and change into the dress. I'm glad I got Mikasa to help me put my gifts from everyone at my door before she headed to her dorm for the night. There was a good many of them. I walked into my lab and started heading for my room when I noticed a box on my desk. That wasn't there before.
I went up to the desk and looked at the box to see a note on top of it. I opened the note and it read:
Happy birthday nerd.

I smiled but wondered why he got me a gift and made me go out and buy something for myself using his money.i slowly opened the box and it revealed something that immediately made my eyes sparkle. A brand new microscope.
I took the microscope out of the box and turned it on, just because I can. I than noticed there was a small side on the microscope already. It had small writing on it. I decided instead of just taking the slide off and reading it, I would actually use the lens to do so. I adjusted the microscope and took a look.
Will you be my nerd?
There was no question about it. That was definitely Levi's handwriting. I slightly jumped up in joy from just being asked out by my crush. He didn't just see me as a nerdy scientist.
I looked around making sure Levi wasn't in my lab and sure enough, he wasn't. I ran to my room and quickly changed into the dress I brought earlier and grab the piece of cake. Instead of heading directly for Levi's office I decide to head back to the kitchen.
There was extra frosting from the cake and so I took it and wrote on the slice I had for Levi. Now I could head to Levi's office.
{Levi's Point of View}
Knock. Knock.
I heard on a knock on my office door. But I knew that knock. It was (your name)'s knock. She had a certain knock and I knew it all too well.
"Come in." I watched as (your name) walked in and my jaw nearly dropped. She was wearing a short tight dress with heels. She had put on some jewelry and did her hair. For a second, I had to make sure my jaw didn't drop.
"Hey Levi." She had a plate in her hand. "I noticed you weren't at the party so I brought you a piece of cake."
I stood up and leaned on my desk to enjoy the view of her even more. "You didn't have to bring me a piece, you know?"
She giggled. "Actually I kind of did." She handed me the piece of cake and I realized she had written on it with frosting.
Yes.
I looked up at her wondering if this meant what I thought it did.
"Is this yes as in yes to..."
"Yes. Yes! I would love to be your nerd."
I put the piece of cake down and picked her up and spin her around in joy. I kissed her after putting her back down and she didn't hesitate to return the kiss.
"I've been wanting to do that for a while." I admitted.
She laughed. "Me to."
"Really?"
"I wouldn't have said yes if I didn't like you to Levi. So tell me, do you like the dress that you technically paid for." She handed me back my wallet causing me to grin.
"I definitely approve."
"I'm glad. And also, thanks for my third birthday gift."
"Third?"
"I count the dress and one and the party as two. The microscope was the third."
"So you did love it?"
"Of course. Matter of fact..." She grabbed my hand. "Let's go test it out together right now!" She started running, dragging me with her.
How could she even run in those heels.
I chuckled. "Nerd."
"Yeah but I'm your nerd."
I stopped her and pulled her in for another kiss. "That you are. My nerd."
