The blonde pulled into a parking space, parking the car and turning it off. Natsu quickly unbuckled and jumped out of the vehicle. He had four hours to do whatever he could before he had to go home.

The two teens walked through the parking lot and to the mall entrance. Lucy took notice of her favorite store, which so happens to be at the entrance of the mall.

"Natsu! Please, take me to Victoria's Secret! I'll pay you back, I promise!" Lucy was practically on her knees. She gripped onto his shoulders, shaking him frantically, but only a sigh escaped his lips.

"I can't, Lucy. I didn't bring my wallet."

Lucy looked at the store sadly, then turned back to Natsu with a sad look. "I guess we can just look around . . ."

The pair walked to multiple stores, glancing at the newest items that they couldn't buy due to Lucy's amount of money and Natsu's forgotten wallet. They stopped at the food court for two slices of pizza.
The pair then continued walking around the mall, running into a few acquaintances from school. They would talk for a while, and then continue to move. Natsu kept track of time, only alerting Lucy when they had two hours left. The rosette thought it was a good idea to leave, since they didn't really have anything to do.

Lucy drove Natsu back home, him collapsing onto the floor after walking inside. Lucy drove home since she told her father that she would be home some time after lunch. Natsu relaxed on the floor for a few moments, then got up to go to his room, where, on his desk, the computer sat. Natsu immediately got on, deciding it would be best to work on his summer homework before Zeref got home.

Yes, summer homework. For English class, Natsu had to annotate and summarize three books. The summer before, it was two. He had gotten used to the summer homework. In fact, the teacher was kind enough to give them a head start during school on the last week. So if they had nothing to do in that class, they could always do their homework.

Natsu logged into his school Google account. He then moved his mouse to Google classroom and pressed his English class. He then began to summarize his first book. He had already annotated more than half of it because he was "not going to waste his time over summer reading three books." No, he would waste his time over summer reading two and a half books.

After about an hour, Zeref came home. It was kind of early to Natsu, but today was a Wednesday, and Zeref always came home early on Wednesday's. There was a reason for it. A few relatives would come to visit every Wednesday of the year after school. The time never really changed, especially over the summer. And today, maybe a few of them were staying over for a week.

Natsu had completely forgotten when Zeref walked through the door, shouting at Natsu to clean up anything he could. The time was 2:17pm. The relatives came at three.

Natsu and Zeref panicked, throwing every piece of clothing in the basement to be washed later. Natsu then walked around the house, carrying a trash bag in hand, following Zeref as he threw all the trash into the bag. The house was practically clean already, except for Natsu's room. But no one ever went in Natsu's room unless they were really asking for it.

Zeref and Natsu both collapsed onto the couch when the doorbell rang. The two brothers looked at each other, and it was decided that Natsu would get it. The rosette unlocked the door, opening it to reveal, not his relatives, but Gray.

"Hey Natsu," Gray smiled.

Natsu was speechless. He never really thought Gray would show up to his house again. But there had to be a reason today. This wasn't random at all. "Hi Gray," Natsu greeted, a smile on his face. Zeref tensed up at the sound of Gray's name, but tried to keep himself calm. It wasn't going to take long, right? Right?
