So I started The Prince today and I finished it in a very short period of time. When Daphne was introduced as a character, I predicted that she was the girl pointed in the description, however as the story progresses I felt that Maxon doesn’t have feelings for her.
That was confirmed in the latter part, when they are having this conversation wherein Daphne kept pushing that Maxon loves her, I kept on saying on my head “STOP TRYING TO BE DESPERATE!!! HE JUST LIKES YOU AS A FRIEND” Although it’s sad on Daphne’s part, I felt happy that technically America is his first love. (or I like to think it’s already love)
Even thou Celeste is build up in this book, I still hate her. And my hate for Maxon’s father is tripled. Overall, don’t read this first before The Selection even thou it’s stated as 0.5 lol
