Dinner

I was sitting in my bedroom doing homework when my mother Serena, called me down for dinner.  "Cedes it's time for dinner!" "okay mom.  I'll be down in a minute! " I yell back to her.

Cedes is a nickname she has been calling me since I was bout 3 years old. She started calling me that because I couldn't say Mercedes properly, so I called myself Cedes.

I put my homework away because I thought I had done enough for tonight. It's only Friday anyways,  I have alot of time to finish it.
I got downstairs and sat at the table.  My mom said "cedes.  Tonight me and your dad are going out with our friends for a few drinks. If you want, you can call up kyonna and ask her to sleepover. We will be back late and we have house keys so you don't have to wait up for us sweetie. "
Sweet, I thought to myself .
At that moment my phone went off.
*ding *
I pulled my phone out my pocket and checked who the text was from.
I read 'you have a new text message from Kyonna ❤'
So I unlocked my phone to see what it said.

Kyonna ❤- hey girly!  Me and Dustin are throwing a party tonight.  You should comeover bb ❤.

Perfect timing.

Me- okay I'll be over in a few hours.  I have to get ready and my parents are going out so can I come sleepover tonight?

Kyonna ❤- of course you can sleepover. And okay see you here.

Me- kk ttyl 💞

Okay so that's settled.
"hey mom" I said while playing with my food with my fork.
"yes sweetie" she said.
"I'm just gonna go sleepover at kyonnas tonight instead.  She invited me over for a movie night. "
"okay sweetie,  that's fine "
"okay".
I quickly ate my spaghetti and ran upstairs to get ready.

I started with my makeup.  I put on some foundation and did my contour and highlighter. Then I did my eyeshadow.  I did smokey eyes and to top it off I put on some mascara and maroon lipstick.

I then decided on wearing a white croptop with my black high waisted ripped jeans. And put on white low cut vans.

I curled my hair a smidge and when I was finished getting ready I checked the time.

My phone read 9:06p.m.
I decided to text kyonna and tell her I was on my way.
I went downstairs slowly to make sure my parents were gone.  When I realized they had already left I went and put the dishes away, so they didn't have to worry about a mess.  And I locked the door and made my way to kyonnas house.
