Sora: (laughs) I'm clean

Ayuko: Are you?

Sora: Who knows?

Ayuko: I'm getting tired (She claps and the lights turn off and a night light comes on)

Sora: What's the night light for?

Ayuko: I've discovered that I might have a fear of the dark

Sora: You mean the color? Or the dark because in the dark its just dark

Ayuko: I'm not scared of the dark, I'm just scared of what's in it... (shifts uncomfortably.)...

Sora: ....I think I should go now

Ayuko: (She grabs his arm and wraps it around her neck and lays her head on it) please stay.

Sora: (Wraps his other arm around her connecting locking her in his embrace) I will

(He moves in closer and Ayuko leans her head back up against his chest, she was out like a light. Sora kisses her on the cheek and falls asleep)

Sora: [I'll never let you go]

------------Next Morning-----------

Hiro: (He gets to the hospital and walks into Ayuko's room with Sora next to her. He closed the door and left the hospital all together.) [Internal Thoughts: H-hiroki didn't hit her for nothing. Hiroki... he's gone for good.] (A few tears ran down Hiro's face as he hopped into his car and drove off.)

Ayuko: [My dad opened the door didn't he? Did he leave? What does he think went down? Why did I do this?] Sora?

Sora: (He shifted)

Ayuko: Get up!

Sora: (His words were not forming) whyduyoawsthhmehtoleves

Ayuko: What?

Sora: I'm just messing with you I'll go, my parents might need me back- (He smiled) Yeah, my dad will need me. (He bagan walking out the room)

Ayuko: Wait, I wanted to ask something...

Sora: What is it?

Ayuko: What happened with you and my dad? I could hear you talking...

Sora: (He kept walking)

Ayuko: (She reached over to the side table and grabbed her phone. She scrolled through her contacts and called Hiro.) [He only answers on the third ring.] *Ring...ring...ring...ring...ring...I'm sorry but the person you are trying to call can't- (She hung up and decided to try and call Sky.)

Sky: *Ring...* Hello Ayuko, how are you doing?

Ayuko: Hey Sky, I'm doing okay. Do you know what happened with my dad?

Sky: What do you mean honey?

Ayuko: He was supposed to be here earlier, but I didn't see him

Sky: Maybe he came when you were asleep

Ayuko: [That's what I was afraid of] Oh...

Sky: He'll probably be back after work, I'll tell him you wanted to see him!

Ayuko: Thank you so much Sky

Sky: You're welcome honey *click*

--------Back at school-------

Sora: [Inner Thought: Some beer would be really nice right now]

Juliette: (runs over to him) babe how are you doing, you know I love you right?

Sora: Sorry thot I'm not feeling it today, get one of your boyfriends to give you attention

Juliette: Is it because of her...

Sora: (laughs) who

Juliette: Ayuko Dai or whatever

Sora: No, I don't like her Juliette but she's a better person than you

Juliette: No she is not, she is an ugly piece of trash who deserves to die, she's not as nice as you think idiot

Sora: (He smiles and then slaps her) I don't care if you call me an idiot but DON'T YOU EVER MAKE FUN OF AYUKO YOU DON'T DO THAT

Juliette: d-did you j-just slap me?

Sora: yeah I did, problem slut? get out my way I'm late for class (brushes past her)

Juliette: (runs away crying)

Sora: sluts (rolls eyes)

-------------------at the office----------------------

Sky: Goodmorning Hiro, how are you

Hiro: Morning, I'm doing fine and you?

Sky: good, how's ayuko?

Hiro: She seems to be doing a lot better

Sky: stop being a seabees hiro spill now

Hiro: She was with Sora and I'm pissed about it, is that what you wanted to hear?

Sky: If it makes you feel better I told Sora if he wanted to take it to the next level with Ayuko he has to wait til hes 18 (laughs) I take my promises very seriously, just like when Jake started seeing other girls I killed him and I would do the same to Sora if he broke a promise with me! I'm his mother!

Hiro: (Laughs) Sky, I love you

Sky: I don't seem like the type but I'm very religious so I would really rather them wait til there married but that's me...also Ayuko is not Juliette she has more sense and class. Plus she may not be blood but she is stubborn like you so Sora isn't getting anything and if he does I'm killing him period.

Hiro: That uh... I'm still going to talk to Ayuko

Sky: Bout what?

Hiro: Everything that's been going on

Sky: So what exactly will you say

Hiro: I'll be right back (He smiles and stands up)

Sky: ok before you come back grab me a cup of joe

Hiro: Can do (He walked into the bathroom and began scratching at his arm. Scars from years ago peeled off like sunburned skin, he kept peeling away the skin down to new pinky flesh that was sore with the slight wisps of air pressing the skin to throb. He looked in the mirror and looked back at his arm, the scars were clung to the skin and the pink flesh was covered by past wounds. The stinging faded and reality set in.) [What the hell is this?] (He walked back out of the bathroom and walked into the kitchen to make sky some coffee, he grabbed the cup and walked back to his desk. He sat the cup next to sky.)

Sky: Thanks Hiro... are you okay? You look shell shocked

Hiro: Uh fine, I mean I'm fine... (He laughs) What?

Sky: Okay, now you're not even trying to lie to me it thought we were better than this!

Hiro: I never was

Sky: I love you hiro and I really do but you have to stop this negativity!

Hiro: I guess...

Sky: Don't I guess me mister you need to listen to me ok (smiles)

Hiro: I do listen, just I act upon said listening (He laughs)

Sky: Just like Ayuko you should go to the hospital and talk to her I'll do your work for you...

Hiro: Oh, yeah I should...but, I can wait til after work, I don't wanna leave you with this shit

Sky: Go it's not like I haven't been doing it anyways you need to talk to her

Hiro: Okay, I'll see you some time... (He begins cleaning up his desk)

Sky: I'll come over later to plan the party and if you want I'll bring Sora so we can have a talk with the both of them

Hiro: Okay, that's good (He slings his bag over his shoulder and begins to walk out)

Sky: bye bye see ya
