-----------10 minutes later------------

Hiro: (driving to the school) is that...Hiro's daughter? (Drives over to the sidewalk and rolls down window) hey Ayuko what's wrong honey?

Ayuko: (wipes face) nothing you can just go ahead (tries to smile but starts crying)

Hiro: (gets out the car and walks over to her and embraces her in a hug) did you find out your dad was in the hospital

Ayuko: MY DAD'S IN THE HOSPITAL! (Starts crying even more) CAN THIS DAY GET WORSE!

hiro: I'll take you to your dad so hop in, I just need to get sora

Ayuko: LEAVE HIM!

Hiro: ok then... me and him will have a talk later

(Both ayuko and hiro get into the car and start driving to the hospital after they get there hiro drops ayuko off and leaves)

Ayuko: (walks up to the front desk) um do you know the room for daiki dai?

Receptionist: (The lady at the front desk pulls out a list) Here I'll show you honey, are you his daughter?

Ayuko: yeah

Receptionist: (Begins walking to a room, she motions towards the door) Go ahead honey

Ayuko: (She opens the door and walks inside)

Hiroki: (He head is down and he's still holding one of Daiki's hand's with both of his. Daiki is awake now, but not very responsive.)

Ayuko: hey dad...

Hiroki: (He looks up with tears dried along his face and wipes them away.) Are you okay Ayuko?

Ayuko: yeah (tries to wipe her face but it just makes it worse)

Hiroki: Did something happen at school?

Ayuko: nope...how's papa?

Hiroki: Uhm... he's... going to be okay! (Hiroki forces a smile)

Ayuko: yeah... nice one (whispers softly) I'm going to the bathroom to freshen up I'll be right back

Hroki: Okay honey

--------------yonan middle school-------------

Hiro: (Rolls up to the school)

Sora: (hopes in and buckles up) What took you so long?

Hiro: (Revs the car and speeds off, she then parks at a nearby gas station)

Sora: Mom what are you doing

Hiro: (Unbuckled seat belt, turns to Sora and punches him) What has gotten into you

Sora; (wheezes and coughs) what do you mean

Hiro; You make girls cry now!?

Sora: Oh Ayuko, wasn't my fault

Hiro (slaps him) Bullcrap don't lie to me

Sora: I gave her my number like you suggested but that doesn't mean I like her she's to perky and talks too much, she's annoying

Hiro: Just like you are, she at least tried to be your friend Mr grumps

Sora: well then that's her fault

Hiro: I'm very disappointed in you young man but that's okay, you will just answer to your father who has been discharged from the hospital

Sora: (A tear falls down his face)

Hiro: Save it (She then buckles up, starts the car and heads home)

--------------------back at the hospital------------

Ayuko: (She walks into the bathroom and tries to wipe away her makeup with wet paper towels. She combs through her hair with her fingers and wipes away as much of the sweat from her face and arms. She wets her hair and dries it the best she can) (she then looks in the mirror) why do I even try (bangs hand up against the mirror) I was an idiot, like father like daughter he was an idiot like father like son (reaches into pocket and unfolds the paper carefully and read Call me with some digits she took out her phone and typed the digits in slowly before pressing call. The phone ringed for a bit and then it picked up. Hello?

Sora: hi ayuko

Ayuko:what do you want

Sora: Hey I said I no longer want to see you in my presence at school, I never said after...

Ayuko: (blushes)

Sora: You didn't have to yell at me and push me off a wall you know...

Ayuko: I'm sorry it was just in the moment

Sora: you act like I don't notice things like I don't notice that you dressed up today to talk to me or i dont notice whenever you see me you try to act cool, or better yet you act like I didn't notice the fact that whenever you would talk on and on it was only because you were nervous to be around me...your the one who needs to notice things like whenever you would talk to me I would always be on the same page, or notice that when Juliette asked me out I was waiting for you to step out of the bush and do something, but you didn't... so whose fault is this really's?

Ayuko: Yours

Sora: How?

Ayuko: because you never show any emotions!

Sora: Am I supposed too?

Ayuko: Well how else am I supposed to know what you're thinking?

Sora: You don't.

Ayuko: Hilarious

Sora: Did you regret the kiss

Ayuko: did you?

Sora: My answer is yours...goodnight Ayuko (hangs up)

Ayuko: Goodnight Sora...and my answer is no (puts phone back in pocket) (looks in the mirror one more time before leaving to go back to the room)

Hiroki: (He continues to run his hand though Daiki's hair as he twitches.) It'll be okay... soon

Ayuko: (She walks back into the room and sits down in a chair on the opposite side of Daiki.) What happened?

Hiroki: H-he just... fainted...at work (He continues looking at Daiki)

Ayuko: You're lying...

Hiroki: Maybe I am

Ayuko: Did he hurt himself?

Hiroki: I mean... you could say that

Daiki: (He twitches more aggressively and wakes up in panic.)

Hiroki: (He grabs onto Daiki the best he can until he calms down) You're okay Daiki

Daiki: I wish I wasn't

Hiroki: Stop it!

Ayuko: Papa!

Daiki: Hello honey (He attempts to run his hand through Ayuko's hair, but he barely touches her tangled locks)

Ayuko: Do you feel better?

Daiki: I think so

Hiroki: We'll see when we can get you out of this place
