Hiroki: (He had been sitting on the couch) Daiki, are you okay? Is Ayuko okay?

Daiki: Yeah, no and I don't know

Hiroki: That was three different answers, so what happened exactly?

Daiki: That boy Sora, kissed Ayuko... they were on ledge talking and I'm really worried about what might happen to Ayuko...

Hiroki: AYUKO, COME DOWN STAIRS AND TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON HERE!

Daiki: You didn't have to-

Hiroki: Quiet.

Ayuko: (comes down the stairs slowly)

Hiroki: What happened Ayuko Dai?

Ayuko: ....

Hiroki: You better talk or I promise I will have your school changed to the one closer in an instant.

Ayuko: He kissed me

Hiroki: Was there a reason?

Ayuko: I don't think so I was just talking to him while he was a reading a book and then he kissed me

Hiroki: Ayuko, you can NOT talk to this boy and you will not see him outside of school if I can help it.

Ayuko: but he kissed me

Hiroki: That's not the problem

Ayuko: but he kissed me

Hiroki: I DO NOT CARE WHO KISSED WHO, I CARE WHO THIS BOY'S FAMILY IS AND WE DON'T WANT THEM ANYWHERE AROUND YOU

Ayuko: his family is he-kissed-me (she said slowly with a grin)

Hiroki: (Bursts out of anger and slaps her) Repeat after me I will NOT talk to that boy, okay?

Ayuko: (Holds her cheek) I will talk to the boy because he kissed me

Hiroki: You're not going to school tomorrow. Neither of us will drive you.

Ayuko: fine dont I dont care I will walk

Hiroki: Have fucking fun because I'm not letting you hang around some rich prissy with a family of deviants

Ayuko: I RATHER BE WITH A RICH PRISSY FAMILY OF DEVIANTS THEN BE WITH YOU RIGHT NOW THESE ARE THE MOMENTS WHEN I WISH I HAD A MOM I HATE YOU AND I'M NOT TALKING TO YOU EVER AGAIN ALSO DO ME A FAVOR AND DON'T WAKE UP! (She screamed and then ran upstairs to her room and slammed the door)

Hiroki: (He throws a vase across the room and it shatter on the floor.) I'm gonna kill her

Daiki: (He smiles) Thanks for trying, I guess... I'll try and talk to his mom, Ayuko can be mad all she wants, I don't care anymore. I'm not letting her get kidnapped.

Ayuko: (opens up the door and comes down the stairs with a hoodie, sweat pants, and some sneakers) I'm leaving to get some air!

Ayuko: stop me and I will call the cops your not my dad!

Daiki: No, I'm not, and YOU don't know what abuse IS! (He grabs her and carries her up to her room. He puts her on the bed and sits over her legs without hurting her. Hiroki joins them.) Ayuko, I need you to listen to me, I may not be your biological parent, but I do love you and I want what I believe is the best for you. Ayuko, I was tortured by one of Sora's family members, they beat me bloody while my hands were tied. I didn't think I would get away, but I did.

Ayuko: that's a you problem not a me problem

Daiki: Do you want to get kidnapped and put in an isolated room, then tied up and beat, to think your life will end in that damn building, to get out and realise you are not free and you never will be.

Ayuko: let me ask you a question I don't know the whole story but while you were there did you ever like it...

Daiki: Yes, I did, doctors tell me it was stockholm syndrome

Ayuko: Well if you like being with your kidnapper then I like being with Sora

Daiki: Don't think like that, that's not the whole story...

Ayuko: then tell me maybe it will change my mind daiki.

Daiki: Ayuko, I was raped there. I was tied to a tree and a person I once loved forced themself on me, it was my kidnappers brother, once they let me go, I ran and I didn't stop until I got to this town. I had my name changed, I finished highschool, and I married Hiroki.

Ayuko: good for you I'm glad you had a happily ever after

Daiki: I mean yeah and then you came into our lives, I don't want you to (his voice gets shaky) go through anything like that because that is truly h-hell and back.

Ayuko: Fine I get it but, here let me propose a deal...let me go to school to see him so I can ask him a question and I will drop it...forever...

Daiki: As long as that question isn't to meet him somewhere, then deal.

Ayuko: Deal and the question is simple I just want to know why he kissed me

Daiki: Okay, well...we'll leave you alone now, please be careful

Ayuko: wait...I just wanted to say...I'm sorry to the both of you and you should wake up tomorrow...

Daiki: [Internal Thought: I'm not sure I want to] It's okay kid (He walks over and kisses her on the forehead) Goodnight

Ayuko: night

(They all head off to bed)
