Introduction

          Kissing Jacob goodbye I climb out of his truck and start heading to my apartment. Jacob is my boyfriend of almost a year now. He is so sweet and there for me when I need it. Walking inside I see Emily sitting on our couch waiting for me. Smiling at her she gives me a look like sit.

          "Whats up Emily? Whats going on?" Staring at me she gets up and walks over to me pushing me on the couch.

          "Mia my brother is gonna be moving in. He needs a place to stay for the summer here in town while he helps my parents with the renovations of their house. Hes gonna move into the spare." I stare at her for a few mins before it registers in my brain what she just said.

          "I'm sorry what? Hes not moving in! You know how I feel about him! Why can't he stay with your parents at the hotel?!" This point I was yelling. I knew I shouldn't be but he was so mean to me when we were kids. All he did was pick on me saying I couldn't get a boyfriend and that I was probably gay all through high school. He would spread rumors about me saying all kinds of stuff. Like I was a whore who slept around and had an std. It made my high school experience a living hell. The only friend I had was Emily because she knew the truth of all the terrible lies. He once even spread a rumor that I let someone take pictures of me naked for 5 bucks.

          "I'm sorry Mia hes my brother and he can't stay with my parents in a hotel. Are you crazy? Hes changed trust me." Signing I walked away to my room mumbling to myself how this is all stupid. while opening my door too my bedroom I hear her yell at me. "He will be here tomorrow morning be nice!" Slamming my door shut I jump on my bed face first and fall asleep.

          Waking up to my alarm going off I hit the snooze button and rolled out of bed walking over to grab my bathroom supplies. Heading to the bathroom I hear Emily on the phone with someone. Should I eavesdrop? No. No i shouldn't. Even though I really want too I resist and go into the bathroom and hop into the shower.

           After my shower I go back into my room and put on a black skater skirt with a white flower crop top. Paring it with a tan pair of booties and a cardigan. I put on makeup and curl my blonde hair really quick before opening my door and walking out. Walking into the living room the front door opens and in walks Noah with Emily. Standing their for a second I stare at Noah damn he looks hotter then last time I saw him which has been two years by the way. Just then I notice his hands are filled with boxes and there is a boy standing right by him.

          "Oh look its Mia. Seems like your style has gotten better huh." Looking at Noah again I give him an evil eye while he checks me out. I scoff and grab my car keys off the stand by the door and head out. Telling Emily I have class. Leaving that apartment is the easiest thing I have done ever. I get in my car and pull out of my parking spot heading to campus, ready for the last day of the school year.
