Part 1 - Lanavia

Climbing.

I am going down a cliff's face. I see legions of men, in the distance, maybe 60 miles away. They have all been bewitched by the queen. 

The queen. Her name is not known, but I call her Alva. Swedish for elf. She is an elf. They say she is breathtakingly beautiful, but I don't know.

I will find out soon. I am hiking, walking, sometimes crawling to her. I need to do something for the good of this world. I must free this world from her. 

She started her campaign to control 10 years ago, when I was 4. I was too young then too understand good and evil. So when my father fell for her, and my mother fell to her, I fell with them, until I broke free.

I broke free when I was 8. Then and there, I realized what I should have realized long ago. My realization of the queen's evil broke me free of her grasp. 6 years later, now, I am walking to her, to free myself and half the world. For she has enslaved half the world. The other half? Well, they met their demise at her hands. 

That is how she has always operated. They say that before she set her black eyes on Earth, she had gone through the universe, seducing half and killing those who could not be.

When I learned this, I thought it explained the alien looks and personalities of her armies. But they say that that is not all. She experiments.

I focus myself now. I look forward to my destination. One step by a time, my goal grows nearer.

Well, a dramatic entry, I guess! This is how I like to write fantasy, or not like, but my brain writes like this. 

What do you think about the queen so far? 

Well, that's about it! This was just like a short introduction/background info chapter. Any ideas?
