He sees the
world in color,
my flower boy.He dances among the
tulips and the wildflowers. He picks each flower,
for they are as unique
and eccentric as he is.He gazes at the sky
wishing for more sunlight,
for when the nighttime arrives
he comes undone.He lives his
life slowly,
my flower boy.Everything he
sees is extraordinary
in his eyes.For when there
is nothing left
to see, there becomes
nothing left of him.
