At the sound of the cannon, we left the tent. We were automatically overcome with the noises from the crowd.

I looked at Harry and nodded. Then we separated. We had a plan. I would grab the egg while Harry distracted the dragon.

But if you know anything about us, you'd know nothing ever goes to plan.

The dragon immediately tried to attack both of us. We hid behind a rock as the dragon blasted it with fire.

I looked at Harry, breathing deeply.

"Accio Firebolt!" He shouted. The dragon roared. Harry's broom came flying toward us. Harry hopped on it and flew around the dragon.

He was the one who was good at Quidditch. I was miserable at it.

Harry flew around the dragon to get him away from the egg. I took the opportunity to run toward the egg.

But the dragon heard me and turned it's attention to me.

"Oh no.." I mumbled as I took off running from the dragon.

"HARRY!" I yelled, hoping he could do something to get me out of the Horntail's way. And he did.

He swept past me on his broom (pun intended) and grabbed my arm, pulling me onto the broom. Now I am relatively small so it didn't affect the broom at all.

We flew away from the dragon.

"Harry we have to get the egg" I hissed in his ear.

"You think I don't know that?" He whispered back. There was a loud medal clang behind us. I turned my head to see the source of the noise.

"Bloody hell.."

"What? What is it?" Harry asked.

"We have a massive problem!" I yelled. The dragon had broken it's chains.

Harry flew far from the arena, the dragon hot on our tail. We flew toward the castle.

The dragon was catching up with us. "Harry, look out for the castle!" I said as he looked back at the dragon. We crashed into the castle and Harry and I clung to it for dear life. The dragon landed next to us. It attempted to get to us, knocking hundreds of shingles off the roof in the process.

Harry and I desperately made our way to the broom. Harry got there first and grabbed my arm as he flew away from the dragon once again.

"I have an idea!" He said as the dragon followed us once more.

"Whatever it is, do it!" I shouted at him.

He nodded and flew toward a bridge of the castle. The bridge hung over a massive ravine. Harry flew threw one of the arches.

The dragon, ever the smart creature, attempted to follow suit. But it instead crashed through the bridge and plummeted into the ditch

"Yes!" I cheered.

We headed back to the arena.

"You grab the egg" Harry said. I nodded and as we passed by the egg, I reached for it, hanging onto to the broom with my knees. I grabbed the egg and hugged it close to me.

We landed and I immediately hugged Harry. I handed him the egg and he held it in the air, earning cheers from the crowd.

As the event ended, everyone headed back to either the Great Hall or their common rooms.

We headed to the Great Hall with a variety of people from different houses, mostly Gryffindors.

(I know they went to the Gryffindor common room but Draco isn't allowed in the common room so this is what I'm doing so he can get jelly)

The Weasley Twins set off some flameless fireworks as people cheered and hoisted us up above the crowd.

Harry held the egg up. People chanted for him to open it.

"You want me to open it?" He yelled they all shouted yes.

Harry opened us and immediately everyone screamed in surprise as it emitted a very loud screeching sound.

The people holding Harry and I dropped us.

Harry closed the egg again

"What the bloody hell was that?" Ron said as everyone calmed down.

~Draco's POV~

"Alright everyone clear off!" One of the two Weasley Twins shouted, "it's tense enough here without you lot"

Everyone grumbled as we left the hall. I stood at the door, looking inside from a subtle hiding place.

Her brother talked to Weasley, glaring at him. They both talked for a moment, Tessa joined in the conversation as well. Then, after a moment of them talking, Tessa grinned and hugged Weasley.

I scowled at the sight as Weasley hugged her back with a laugh.

"Draco what are you doing?" Goyle said, looking at me. I looked at him and tsked.

"None of your business. Now go! I'll meet you at the common room" I sneered. They both shrugged and walked off.

I peeked in the door again to see Tessa pull away from the hug with a bright smile on her face. I growled a little as I watched them. Weasley looked at Harry and immediately pulled away from Tessa.

"C'mon! Let's go celebrate! Fred said there'd be butter beer in the common room!" Tessa announced. The three of them began walking toward the door. I immediately hid.

~Tessa's POV~

We walked out of the Great Hall. I heard a hiss behind us. I turned to see Draco gesturing me over to him.

"Guys I'll catch up" I said as I stopped walking. The two of them nodded and kept walking.

I walked over to Draco.

"Hello Gorgeous" he teased me with a smirk. But I could tell the smirk was a little bit forced

"Are you okay Draco?" I asked him

"Yea. I was just scared I was going to lose you for a moment there" he said with a smile. I assumed it was because of the dragon. I later found out it was because of Ron.

"Nah. I've been through worse. You know that" I said with a smile.

He hugged me with a smile.

I grinned at him.

"As much as I would love to stay here with you, they're expecting me" I said softly.

He nodded "I have to go too. I'll see you tomorrow." He said before walking away from me.
