Jisoo's eyes happened to catch a glimpse of Taeyong and his friends leaving that place and she felt hurt. Taeyong didn't even care if one of his classmates was getting bullied. Was he also trying to avoid her because of the rumours? Did he actually believe in those?

Jisoo pursed her lips, willing herself not to cry in front of her bullies. She knelt and tried to pick her fallen lunch from the floor but one of the seniors grabbed her by the helm and pulled her back up.

"How dare you laugh at us!" The leader pushed Jisoo again, making her fall hard on the floor. "You may think you've won but remember this Kim Jisoo. Once Taeyong gets tired of you, he won't think twice of discarding you just like what he did to the other girls he dated before."

And just like that, the seniors left. Jisoo was left all alone to tend for herself. She sat there, frozen for a long time before gathering her strength back to stand up. Jisoo picked up her lunch and went to the place where she was supposed to spend her lunch at.

Jisoo chose to eat her ruined lunch on the grassy plain just outside their school building. There were tall shrubs around that could hide her from anyone's sight. She opened her lunch box and saw the ruined rice balls. Jisoo couldn't help but cry. A tear finally escaped from the corner of her eye.

She was upset with everyone. Why would they do those things to her? She didn't deserve that kind of treatment. Jisoo was getting tired. If it continued, she wouldn't be able to hang on any longer. Then, Jisoo suddenly remembered Taeyong. Jisoo's heart throbbed. She didn't expect it would hurt that much coming from Taeyong. She already saw that coming but why was she so affected by him? Did Jisoo unknowingly expected something from Taeyong?

Jisoo groaned. Now, Taeyong was messing with her head. She was so frustrated that she didn't realize someone was approaching from behind her. Jisoo gasped when the culprit jumped out from one the windows in the ground floor and landed beside her.

"Bobby?" Jisoo was shocked and confused at the same time.

Bobby widened his eyes, surprised to see Jisoo in that kind of place. He thought she would be on the rooftop by now.

"Yah! Kim Bobby!" Teacher Gang, the class 2-C's homeroom teacher shouted. "Where are you, you brat?!"

"Yah." Jisoo looked at Bobby. "Someone's looking—"

Bobby didn't let her finish and immediately went for her mouth. Bobby covered Jisoo's mouth with his hand and pulled her against the wall. Jisoo struggled.

"Keep quiet or he'll see us." Bobby whispered.

Jisoo stilled. The teacher continued to call Bobby's name. Bobby pushed Jisoo closer to the wall. Jisoo could literally hear Bobby's heartbeat since they were pressed together so tightly. She could also smell Bobby's perfume. When the teacher finally passed through them, Bobby immediately let go of Jisoo.

"What was that?" Jisoo asked. "What did you do this time?"

Bobby looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. "I skipped detention."

"You what?" Jisoo's eyes widened.

Bobby stood up and stretched. "I hate being cooped up inside so i escaped."

Bobby turned to Jisoo and noticed the lunch box lying beside her. Bobby raised an eyebrow and it didn't escape from Jisoo. Jisoo looked away while trying to hide the lunchbox away from Bobby's line of sight but it was already too late. Bobby sighed before sitting back down.

"Are you having a hard time?" Bobby asked, making sure he wouldn't meet Jisoo's gaze.

Jisoo got taken aback. The question seemed so sudden and out of place but it made Jisoo remember what just happened to her that day. The frustration and pain she felt earlier came back, crashing down on her. Jisoo started to tear up. Bobby didn't dare to look at Jisoo because he knew she wouldn't like him to see her cry. Bobby turned his back against her instead to give her more privacy.
