the morning star hovered above in its habitat, its freshly golden rays gently caressing the red head's grazed arms from when he had countlessly made contact with the ground from skateboard tricks. he might as well call the ground his soulmate with all the attention it had from the boy.

hoseok was spending his weekend with his best friend, yeona. the two had a close connection with each other, some would say they could make it as more than friends, but the two would only brush it off their shoulders.

the two were both enjoying the summer breeze as the air raced through the strands of their soft and wild looking hair as they surfed the pavements on their only type of transport. the skateboards glided through the familiar streets of their neighbours, the freedom engulfing them as they let their mind run free.

the weekends were a time of high spirits and felicity. many typical teenagers would spend their time on computer games, sleeping, or being overly obsessed with band members, but what satisfied these two teens was their admiration for thrifting.

"hurry up yeona!" hoseok yelled from afar as he instantly rode off swiftly in the distance in order to annoy the younger, the view of their domestic habitat being painted clear in the orbs of the red haired boy.

"jung hoseok!" yeona shouted in return to the older, her red converse hitting the ground immensely as a big force impacted her to quickly glide more faster than before as she made sure to carefully slither around the annoying cars sat in the exposed pavements connecting to the small road.

"how can you bully your best friend like this" a panting yeona questioned the laughing boy as they arrived at their so called home.

"did i not teach you well, young one?" hoseok teased as the curves of his lips twisted upwards resulting in yeona to roll her eyes.

"i think you've taught enough" she responded, the soft strands of her mud-like hair ghosting over her now hidden eyes as the humid air surrounded the two.

the car park around them held silence. barely any people were there but it made sense as they would want to enjoy their day probably somewhere necessary like a beach instead of a cheap place to buy irrelevant items.

"i guess more unwanted graphic tees and mom jeans for us then" yeona proudly said out-loud, stretching as she strode over to the door, one arm carrying her chipped skateboard, the red haired boy following with his eyebrows furrowed.
