I look up from my computer screen to the clock across the room

i wonder if wyatt wanted to hang out today? maybe i can show him around town? would he wAnt to hang out with me?

I quickly throw on a *clean* sweatshirt and run down the stairs yelling to my mom
"MOM IM GOING TO THE NEIGHBORS HOUSE"
before she could finish her response i hear a knock at my door before i could get to it

i open the door only to surprise myself
..
"Oh hey Wyatt!"
ugh nonono that sounded to desperate
"Hey Jaeden.. i was uh kinda bored and i was wondering if i could show you a little bit around town?"
"uh yea totally sounds good"
i responded with a shake voice
why do i get so nervous around him?

As we walk off my front porch to the side walk i ask
"wait so where are we going ?"
he responds with a simple yet slightly annoying
"you'll see"

after about 5 minuets of silence and footsteps we walk up to a... cliff?

"This is the quarry. most of my memories are made here."
"oh uh cool"
i respond awkwardly

Two minutes of small talk later some kids walk up to us out of the woods
i thought they were just strangers but then Wyatt waves them over
"hey guys" he says
"these are the people i make memories with" he smiles and laughs a little under his breath.
"this is Sophia, Jack, Finn, Chosen, Noah and Millie,"

after meeting all of his friends and talking for a bit they leave and Wyatt and i start to walk home.
