Jaeden's POV

I woke up around 12 on a sunny Wednesday morning to a door bell ring from downstairs
"mOm can you get that"
no response*
...
no response*
...
"damnit mom" i thought to myself as i threw on a hoodie and some jeans quickly
As i walked down the stairs the doorbell rings again so i rush over to the door and open it
..
um.. hi?
i open the door only to see a certain curly headed boy standing in my doorway.
"hey.. um im Wyatt.. "i saw you guys just moved in and my mom made some baked goods for you guys" he said handing me a basket full of cookies and brownies
"Oh hey thanks" i said as he asks "may i come in? i've been wondering what your like and if we're gonna be living next to each other then i wanna get to know you"
"oh yea um su- i reply as Wyatt walks past me into my living room as he inspected the rooms
"Nice house dude. I've never been in this house cause the old neighbors were basically psychopaths" he says laughingly his own joke. "Oh and by the way i should probably ask your name considering we're gonna be bestfriends/neighbors"
"Oh yea uh I'm uh Jaeden"
For some reason i can talk straight, like he just seems to be so.. i don't know.. like... smooth? I guess
I get caught up in my thoughts as Wyatt starts to talk
"Cool name dude so imma call you jae, cool?"
"Oh uh yea.. um cool"
Okay well i have some stuff to do so i should probably head back but it was great meeting you Jaeden.. oh wait i mean jae"
"Alright well bye Wyatt"
"Bye Jae"
