Jennie's POV

"Woah, you got here earlier than I did,  GUCCI. I'm flattered," my eyes caught Taehyung's form as he walks towards my location.

The rooftop was big with sections that are hidden, but somehow, we ended up having a spot we regularly stay with.

Besides, it's very rare to see someone stay at the rooftop since most of the people living in this building are families. Or if there are some, I'm thankful we don't see them the same time we are here because that will be weird.

"Don't get too happy, Kim Taehyung. You aren't as special as my GUCCI's, okay," I snickered but a smile escaped my lips and he just raised an eyebrow as he animatedly did some derpy faces.

He then stopped midway when he noticed that I have pretty much set up everything, from the blanket to a few foods I took from the dorm.

I shrugged my shoulders when he looked at me confused.

The man had been bringing everything. And I know he just came back from yet another tour. I thought it wouldn't hurt if I do these small things instead.

"Stop being so dramatic and come over here, weirdo," I told him and soft chuckles escaped his lips as he sat on an empty spot a little beside me.

"I see my GUCCI misses Taetae, huh?" he teased before he grabbed the container beside him which has Carbonara on it.

Instinctively, I grab a fork and gave it to him. To my surprise, he turned towards my direction and feed me the first bite instead.

I looked at him amused and he just shook his head. "Eat," he ordered and for some reason, I automatically followed.

Afterward, he proceeded to eat.

I wouldn't admit but my cheeks blushed at his gesture.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw how his cheeks had sucked in a little. He lost a decent amount of fat in just days.

"Yah, were you not eating well on your tours?  You look thinner," I can't help but ask but I hope I didn't because he looked at me amused,  mischievousness laced at the glint of his eyes.

"Waah, I just went away for a few days and you're nagging me like some jealous girlfriend," he joked and my eyes widened, now, soft chuckles escaped his lips, I couldn't help but stare.

"I'm kidding Jennie," he mumbled and I was even more surprised when he lifted his right hand to wipe away the smudge of sauce on the corner of my lips.

It was probably fast, like a flash but to me,  everything went slow motion, from the moment he was laughing,  until after he wipes away the smudge on my lips and smiled at me afterward.

Fuck Jennie. What's happening to you?

"Our schedule was quite tight, so yeah, sometimes we can't help but skip meals. And when we're free,  we prefer to sleep instead," He mumbled,  eyes now glued in the food he was eating.

What he said hit me like a blow.

I know he was busier than I am.  I mean, we don't do international concerts yet, apart from those performances that we had in Japan.

If my situation had been hard now, I can't imagine how hard it must have been for them.

With that in mind, I grab a few more sandwiches and hand it to him.

"Eat this," I whispered, my eyes avoiding his.  I don't really know how but our situation ended up like this.

We banter whenever we are with our members but we act like some best of friends when we are alone - minus the kiss by the way.
