Jaehyun took a deep breath and sighed deeply. He began to tidy his desk up with his books and notebooks scattered messily around his workspace until he noticed a small picture frame of Miyeong smiling together with him. A small smile was shown on his face then it turned upside down.

The feeling of sadness overcame him.

Jaehyun grabbed his apartment keys and an umbrella, as well as taking his black hoodie, he closed the door and went on his way to the nearby coffee shop to meet up with Ha Ri.

Along his short walk to the meet up, the guy couldn't help but to tear up; for all he knows is that he couldn't do anything to save Miyeong. He knew he wasn't the one for her only Taeyong. His broken heart wanted to be fixed but those thoughts just kept it shattered like glass that was dropped.

He reached the cafe and saw the girl waiting patiently on her phone. Ha Ri got a good table where no one could really hear their conversation, it kind of amazed him.

Jaehyun slowly walked towards Ha Ri and greeted her with a small grin and she did the same. He took a seat and was offered by the girl with her drink but Jaehyun declined nicely.

The awkward silence filled in the atmosphere as the two figures we're trying to find the perfect time to discuess the matter. Ha Ri glances at Jaehyun, who was looking through his phone, and decided to break the silence with the bold statement.

"The reason why I wanted you to meet up with me is because of Miyeong," Ha Ri said, "and try to figure out what happened and why it happened..." She sighs sadly.

Jaehyun kept silent. His eyes glued on the table and her small hands on her hot coffee drink. The conversation was the one he was waiting for but he couldn't help himself but to stay quiet. He knew that the truth will come out even more if they talked about it.

"Ha Ri... Miyeong is... like this because of us." Jaehyun trailed off.

The female nodded, agreeing to his statement. "Yes, it is because of us but Jaehyun, we were only trying to protect her. We should think that what we caused now was for the best for her."

Jaehyun started to grow angry. How dare she say that Miyeong's sadness is for the best for her? And since when were they a team? He couldn't help but to hold in his anger and glare at Ha Ri intensly without her realizing his coldness.

"What happened to all of us?" Ha Ri sobs, her true form has shattered into small pieces, "this is wasn't I expecting, Jaehyun... I love her with all my heart but I didn't know it would end up like this."

Jaehyun's anger suddenly vanished as he saw his ex-girlfriend breaking down. His eyes softened and his throat was cleared. He gently grabs her hand and clenched it tightly, trying to assure her that everything will be okay.

She looked so hesitant, she violently shrugged his hand off. "No, it's not okay. Damn, Jaehyun, I don't get it anymore! This is all my fault! This—"

With a blink of an eye, Jaehyun quickly pulled Ha Ri into a tight hug. His arms wrapped around her as she froze on the spot; her eyes wide in shock.

"Even though we're in a mess, just remember that I'm here for you. Don't blame this all to yourself, we can figure this out, together."— he whispered in a gentle voice.

Ha Ri couldn't help but to tear up— she knew that she caused this but now Miyeong is in pain. All this time, the demon within controlled her. It was upsetting. She was so regretful.

But then, the feeling of her ex-lover's arms around her created the feeling of safeness which she wanted. Two lips, inches away from each other, connected as the two figures enjoyed their moment of pure bliss.

"J...aehyun?" a soft voice trails, it cracked in the end.

Ha Ri opened her eyes to see Miyeong staring at them in complete awe. She immediately pushed Jaehyun away with all of her force until the man notices her unusual action.

Jaheyun turned around to see Miyeong standing right in front of their eyes.

His face turned pale, his lips shivered, his eyes widened. Jaehyun stood up, "Miyeong, I can— explain. Please let me explain—"

Miyeong threw a well wrapped present towards him furiously. She stormed out from the coffee shop and made her way home. Jaehyun started to run trying to catch up with her, leaving Ha Ri alone in the table.

Ha Ri froze in the moment. Only her mind was processing. She then notices the gift, that was threw by Miyeong, is now broken. She bent down and cleaned it up before the baristas will show up and help her clean.

"Huh?"

Ha Ri opened the box to see crushed chocolate cupcakes freshly baked from the oven. The frosting is covered with sweet vanilla with a note inside the right lower corner of it is ripped, and it says:

I'm sorry for shutting myself out,
I'm sorry for being so selfish,
I'm sorry for beinf self centered,
I'm sorry for not considering your feelings
But even though you know my bad side;
This depressing side of me you saw
Maybe you don't want me anymore but
