Kim's P.O.V.

I sprinted downstairs, thinking I was going to be late for the bus, as always. That was until I looked out the window and noticed that it was dark. The sun was peaking up from the earth and was trying to make its way up so it would be bright. I stared down at my watch and noticed that it was 5:30, not 6:30, and my bus comes at 6:45. I looked around and noticed that there was no one there, aside from my mom.

"Kim? Is that you?" My mom some how immediately knew who was standing in her presence.

"Yes..." I responded, a little suspicious. I traveled down a few of the steps and looked side to side.

"Can you help me with this?" Yep there it was. I knew there was a catch for waking up early. There always is.

I thumped over and saw that she was folding laundry. I could tell that she was getting a head start on it since she has 6 kids. 6 insane kids that sometimes I wish would disappear. She pointed to a mountain of clothes the size of her that she wanted me to do. I rolled my eyes and began to fold.

"Did you hear that the neighbors are moving out today?" My mom asked me, carefully toppling the sheets edges over each other.

"What? No. I'll have to say good bye. Do you have any idea who's moving in next door?" I questioned, looking down at how much more I had to do. Laundry sucks.

"I can't recall their names, but I know that they have a son your age." She smirked and raised an eyebrow. I laughed. Yeah right.

"Very funny mom, but im not looking for a relationship right now," I said. I definitely wasn't as into boys as Kate was. She has pictures of models hanging up in her room, and I have pictures of my family hanging up in mine. I don't know a single time where she hasn't had a boyfriend, aside from right now. Her old one was some idiot who was a captain of the football team. Turns out he cheated on Kate and she cried for 4 days straight. Luckily my mom believed she was sick and didn't have to school on Thursday and Friday. Although I think my mom just felt bad.

My mom just shook her head in disbelief and continued folding her laundry in silence. I finished up my stack and headed up stairs to go get ready for the boring day that was about to whip by me and slap me in the face as if I'm doing something wrong with my life.

It was 6:00 in the morning. I stumbled out of bed and managed to shove on my bunny slippers. I wobbled over to my closet and began to pick out my outfit for the day. As I went to pick up a necklace on a hook on the wall, I looked over and saw a picture of Sean O'Donnell, that I ripped out of an American Eagle magazine. I smiled and went all googly-eyed. How could you not rip him out and stare at him everyday? Okay maybe that sounds retarded and creepy but I mean come on. Kim popped her head in through the door and laughed.

"Staring at Sean again?" She snickered. I threw a pillow at her and scowled. It hit her head like I planned and she shut the door and cracked up laughing.

"Oh wait Kim?"

"Yes?" She replied as she opened the door again, raising her eyebrows as if I've never told her to come back in my room, probably because I haven't.

"How do I look?" I twirled around and did a little curtesy. Today was the last day of being a junior so I wanted to look nice. I was wearing a pink skirt with small white polka dots. I had a white t-shirt on with a jean vest over that. I had black ballet flats and a gold necklace on. My long, light brown hair was brushed down and I straightened it.

"You look exactly like me so I have to say good," Kim rolled her eyes and smiled a cocky smile.

"Haha. I know. That's why I always ask you." I looked at Kim and she was wearing a blue t-shirt and neon green shorts she wears for lacrosse. I looked down at her feet and noticed the bright pink lacrosse socks and her neon green shoes. She looked like a 13 year old boy who is obsessed with lacrosse. "You're wearing that?"

"It's the last day of school Kate. It's not like were attending a wedding." Kim walked away in a sassy mood and went into her room, slamming the door behind her as if I pissed her off. Which I know I did because she gets mad easily. She'll get over it.

We may look exactly alike, but we are definitely different. She sees boys as friends, and I see them as more than friends. She couldn't care less about fashion, and as you could tell, I treat every day as if it were picture day and you wanted to look nice. I think the only similarity that we have is that we are both very intense swimmers, and the fact that we are identical from each other.

As I was walking into school staring down at my phone and not looking where I was going, I bumped into a girl.

"Ow! You jerk what the heck is wrong with you?" She said to me.

I looked up from my phone, only to notice a familiar face.

"Ha ha very funny Holly." I shoved Holly again and laughed. "I wonder how you put up with me as your best friend." I said grinning. I flipped my hair over my shoulder and looked at the rumbling school that students were coming in and out from. Thank god this is the last day.

"Oh trust me. It's hard." We both laughed and walked to our class together, strutting the halls with my sneakers and her dress that perfectly fits her body. Holly oh Holly. Gorgeous Holly.

We were just about to go to our classes when I asked her, "So did you hear that my new neighbors are moving in today?"

She whipped her head around as if it were new news to her, which it was, and replied, "Really? That's so cool. Who's moving in? Maybe it will be a cute boy." She winked at me and smiled.

"Actually, a boy our age is moving in." I smiled and winked back.

"Oooh! I hope he's cute." She grinned and walked into her class. I shook my head, knowing that nothing will ever happen. Everyone knows in reality that your neighbors that you have never become more than friends. Plus most of them are annoying and snobby.

I didn't expect anything to change when the new neighbors moved in, but boy was I wrong.
