"Oh were taking the long way home." My ipod silently blares through my cheep airport bought earbuds.
I had just boarded my plane. One last look at the great AU out the rain stained airplane window and I was whisked away and lifted off into the skies.
"kicking back in the old school yards, play'n songs on our guitars. This is our reality. crazy stupid you and me." I have around 19 hours to tell my story. Lets get my head straightened out, shall we?
Im from the outskirts of Chicago, not that popular in school or anything but I've got some close friends. Im turning 17 this year on August 29th*wink wink*, just kidding. You don't have to get me anything. Im 5'7 and have dark brown shoulder brown hair. Enough about me. Heres my story.
It all started when I was gonna start my Sophomore year in highschool. Ive always wanted to go somewhere new(ha no pun intended) to learn. Just to have the new experience out of America is always fun. It gives me goosebumps just having the thought of adventuring a foreign place. So my parents allowed me to signup for a Australian exchange program. The program allowed me to stay for 1-2 years of school over there, depending if i chose to continue the program. After being accepted I was shown my host family, the Shavers. Ive actually known there family for about a year now, from them moving so much they used to actually live by me and I have a close relationship with Aerin. Thankfully they took my recommendation for me to stay with them.
Aerin goes to Richmond Highschool, shes told me a lot about the people at the schooling. She said that most people are really into sports, and soccer(football). Which is a shame because I really don't have a "thing" for sports besides swimming because I've done it all my life.
Now thats you have some background info lets head to Day One.
