Chapter 1 - The Return

It's over, he's gone.

I look at Stark, tears forming in my eyes. What now we both think but neither of us say anything. I walk of crying. Just like the tears falling down my cheek, rain falls around me.

I screamed loud in anger, thunder sounded around me.

I punched a rock causing my knuckles to break. Stark stops me and holds my hands, he tells me it's going to be okay. I knew he was lying. He hugged me as I cried into his arms.

'I can't do this anymore' I cry.

'you can Storm, we better get back to earth see who's alive and what we're going to do next.'

'I can't go back, I've lost control of myself. I've lost him.' I walk off again and climb the tallest rock. I look down and see the floor so far away. It reminds me of the first time I met him.

I reached the top of the building and slowly made my way to the edge where I stood on the ledge. I knew this was it I was ready to leave. The clouds were gray around me, ever since I arrived in New York it has been miserable weather. I started crying because I was afraid but I also knew it was for the best.

I finally jumped.

I was falling until something grabbed my ankle. I was so confused I couldn't tell what it was so I flailed my leg around trying to set my leg loose but instead I was being pulled back up. I got to the top and I felt someone lift me up.

'let me go!' I screamed and cried as I hit the person holding.

'ow! Calm down its okay' this had made me give up and I cried into the persons shoulder as he put me down on the ground where we both sat there in the pouring rain.

I finally calmed down and looked up to see who was with me. 'wh-who are you' I sniffed.

'I'm spiderman, the neighbourhood hero.' he said as he took his mask off and smiled at me 'but you can call me Peter.'
