i slowly shrug kaiwen who is sleeping beside me but to no avail, she didn't woke up

"did you receive the email from miyoung?" zhangjing asked who is now driving our car

i silently nod as he looked to the rear mirror, "what does it say?"

"we're going to save a hostage from Hangzhou, the daughter of Brian Sy", zhangjing unexpectedly stepped the brake which resulted into a quick halt

kaiwen woke up, screaming "HOLY SON OF HOTPOTS! WHAT WAS THAT?"

i feel like i want to throw up because of the sudden halt

i chuckled and rubbed her back, "nothing, relax. miyoung gave us the mission already"

she looked to me, drinking her water as she waits for my answer, "we need to save a hostage. the daughter of Brian Sy"

she spit out the water she's drinking, making me wet, "why are you all doing this to me? it's my birthday!" i fake cried

"Brian Sy is the richest man in China! if we save the daughter, then we'll receive an enormous amount of money!" zhangjing happily claps before he started to drive again

kaiwen gets the nearest towel and wipes my wet face, "i'm sorry, well Happy Birthday to you babe! i wish you the happiest birthday and life with me!"

i smiled, "thank you", i leaned closer to her and kissed her forehead

"please don't do that as if i'm invisible!" zhangjing butts in, "i received the location from miyoung, we're near"

kaiwen let out a soft chuckle, "you'll find someone soon, zhangjing. believe me"

zhangjing rolls his eye, "how i wish"

"we're here what's your plan?" zhangjing stopped the car infront of an old building, not too near

"i'll go inside. chaoze, please disable all the traps and hack their cctvs as well if there are any. zhangjing, if i don't go out for 10 minutes. leave the place without me" i nodded as i quickly opened the laptop and hacked the enemy's base

"are you sure you can do it by yourself?" zhangjing asked

kaiwen nodded, "trust me, i've done this for a while now."

kaiwen wears her black gloves, the mini earphone with a microphone installed and her black mask, she looked to my laptop that i used for hacking

"where is she?"

"you see that door, three more rooms beside that. she's inside. there are a lot of people guarding her when you go through the front door so i suggest you'll take the back because there are less pㅡ" she cutted my words which made me gasp
