They laid together, in the dark. Eyes not adjusted, nothing could be seen, yet they felt each other. His head on her chest, her hand in his smooth, silky hair. The sound of the other's breathing a lullaby towards peaceful sleep.

"I wish we could lay here forever," the boy whispered up to her. "It's like we're in space. Just our two voices and no one else around to hear."

And he was right, she thought. She smiled as she looked at the blank ceiling. The stars then appeared one by one, little twinkling sparks. A galaxy all their own. The little room didn't exist anymore as they floated together through their space, laughing as they pointed out the constellations and gave them new, silly names. A shooting star racing by and giving off a warm breath of air. They danced on the darkness to the songs they sang in their heads, and played hide and seek among the shining stars. Soon, they vanished, and again the little room.

"I wish so too," she kissed his forehead, and they drifted, peacefully, together.
