Stay safe and I love you :)
-Mom
Well, that answered your question and you promptly rolled your eyes. You didn't know what to do, after all you guys were still settling in. But you were hungry, so you took out the leftover pizza and warmed it up in the microwave and ate it for the time being. After you had finished eating you placed the plate in the sink and decided to head back up into your room to see if there was anything for you to do. Once you had made it up to your room, you tried looking through your things to see if you could find something to entertain yourself. You had found a couple novels, manga you were currently invested in, a sketch book and well, you always had your phone to keep you entertained. Whatever you had decided on picking kept you pretty invested for a couple of hours. After a while you had glanced over to your phone to check the time once more.
2:14 p.m.
Honestly, staying home by yourself was quite boring. You had hoped your mother would return home soon so that you would have someone to talk to. But then, that had suddenly reminded you of William. You've been wanting to speak with him for quite a while now and since you had nothing to do, you quickly found his contact in your phone and called him. Seeing as he takes his phone with him everywhere, he should pick up almost immediately. Plus he was in gym by this time. All it took was for the ringer to ring once and you were soon graced with his voice.
"(Y/n)!! Oh my god, I'm so sorry, I should've called you sooner but exams are coming up and Ms. Smith just gave us this huge project to do and—ugh! I feel like I'm just making up excuses now. I'm just so glad you called." William exclaimed so dramatically and enthusiastically. You chuckled and you heard him sigh soothingly.
"I miss you so much. I've missed your laugh, your very presence, just everything about you." William awed, making you a bit bashful, but at the same time he wouldn't stop talking about you.
"I wish I could just come down there and see you. You don't know how hard I've tried to refrain myself from leaving this town and come to you." He said.
"Yeah. . .I miss you too." You say, exhaling.
"Your voice is so cute over the phone." William said randomly. You fake giggled, you didn't know how else to react. Was this really how he was when he entered a relationship with someone? You've definitely noticed a change, and you didn't exactly know if it was good or bad. All you knew is that now it was something to get used too.
"Anyways, how have you and the others been?" You asked, regarding him and your other friends you had left behind.
"It's all okay here. I think Amethyst is hung up about you leaving, but we'll be coming down to visit this summer. Tadashi and June are doing good and you know Alex is still Alex." That last part made you chuckle a bit. Remembering all of Alex's misadventures he used to drag you and the gang along with, made you forget everything that has happened in the past few days.
"Heh, I miss them." You say longingly, secretly wishing you could just go back to (hometown).
"So, what about you? How's it been in Arus?" William asked with so much curiosity in his voice.
"Oh. . ." You knew this question would come up sooner or later. This was the whole reason why you called him, to forget everything you've experienced here in Arus. However—it wasn't all bad.
"It's been okay, actually I've made some friends here already and I haven't even attended the school here yet." You say putting on a half-baked happy attitude.
"What?! Lucky, you haven't even gone to school since you've left? Who are these friends or yours then?" He asked.
"Heh. . ." You exhaled remembering each and everyone of them.
