"Nothing, I'm just thinking to much. Worrying myself and all." You told him a semi-truth. You were thinking to much, but you had hoped that he would suspect you thinking about the whole Sendak situation. Not something completely unrelated.
"About what?" He pried, to which you internally freaked out on. He wasn't supposed to ask?! Now you gotta make up a lie or tell him. And you didn't want to lie to him, especially after everything he has done for you.
"Just personal things." You didn't exactly lie, but he seemed like he wasn't buying it.
"(Y/n) c'mon. I can tell when something's bothering someone." Lotor said to you while still kneeling in front of you.
"Lotor, I've already told you that it's something personal. It has nothing to do with Haxus or Sendak if that's what your thinking." You try to deviate from his question but he continues pressing on.
"(Y/n). . ." He takes both your hands in his. You immediately started freaking out, internally of course. Your stomach started flipping, your brain started thumping, and your heart began pounding. You felt a thin layer of sweat begin to lace over your entire body.
"You can tell me about it." He says as calmly as ever, and for a moment the both of you stare into each others eyes, but you were the one to cut the moment in half. You removed your hands from his again and turned so that your whole body was on your bed.
"Not now. . .listen I need to go to bed. I have so much on my mind right now, and honestly you're making it worse. I'm not trying to make you feel bad, you've done nothing wrong, I just need to be alone right now—please." You hesitated on adding that last word to your speech. And all at the same time, you never once looked at him while talking either. He stood up with out another word and began walking over towards the window.
"I'm sorry I've been such an inconvenience for you." He said mildly.
"Lotor, that's not what I'm saying." You try to correct him.
"No—no, I think you've made yourself clear. See you around." Then he just left you with that. Effortlessly, he crawled out your window, quietly and quickly. You walked over to your window, noticing a difference within the sky, it was getting lighter. Then you had closed it and went back over to your bed. Before you had closed your eyes though, you had checked the time again.
5:23 a.m.
A few hours later, more like seven, you had woken up again. It was now in the middle of the afternoon and you had woken up feeling as groggily as ever. You blinked slowly and got out of bed once again and headed downstairs. It was Thursday afternoon, and but this time you were surprised that your mother hadn't woken you up yet. The latest she ever lets you sleep in is about 11:30 in the morning. But you weren't complaining, at least you got an extra hour of sleep.
Once you had made it down to the first floor of your house, you immediately made a b-line for the kitchen to find your mother. You knew already that your father was at work with the company so, the only other person you had left to speak to was your mother. Or so you thought. To much of your surprise, you hadn't found her in the kitchen, instead you had spotted a purple sticky note on the fridge. You quickly made it over to the stainless-steel fridge and plucked the note from right off the door.
The note had read as such—
Dear (Y/n),
I've gone grocery shopping and have a few other errands to run today and I don't know when I'll be back. I've let you sleep in today, but just for today, don't get used to it ;) Anyways, while I'm gone, please don't leave the house for now. I don't want you to experience anything bad after everything that has happened this week. Also, there's leftovers from last night in the fridge if you get hungry.
