s p e a k
to me lover
with a tongue dressed in honey
like a viscous curtain that flows
eloquently as blood does from a cut.
your lips d r a p e d in spectral seduction
as if a GHOST has caught your screams
in your throat and
pulled them down into your stomach
these walls are too thin to hold back
the restlessness created by curiosity
my darling, pandora
create a mess with your fingers on my cheeks
open the box
release the relief of mischief into the air
d e s t r o y m e
look at me
love me like you hate me
brush away all the stray hairs that
cope my structure
and plant a seed of forgiveness in
the palm of my hand
WAIT
for it grow
underneath the sweat slicked soil that is my skin
and then
P U L L
it up from the hairs of my arms like roots
and B U R N
it in the fireplace
baby
kiss me
indulge in me
my goddess
my angel
can you taste it?
can you taste the sugar on your roof of your mouth?
is it too sweet for you to swallow?
does it hurt?
does it hurt you like it hurts me
when you shove your tongue
into the depths of my esopagus
with sand at the tip of it
scratching at my vocals cords
as if your name is trapped in them
you make me scream and laugh at the same time
and it hurts to breathe when i look at you
yet i am C U R S E D
with loving you for eternity
because there is no other safe haven
in someone else's eyes
there is no depth
to someone else's ocean
and i am no longer used to swimming in shallow water
when there are rocks picking at my toe nails
i am not used to feeling the bottom of the ocean
when the bottom is too far to reach
you may have destroyed the shores
with your storm of madness in the dark
but i am much more afraid of it being quiet
than of it being
silent
VOUS LISEZ
to the idea of you
