Lastly, a few of the younger children followed Vance and his friends. They had nowhere to go. However they refused to go with the Princess, according to them the Princess 'had cracks in her skin and was swimming in black water'. Therefore they bravely entered the big and scary human world together with Vance.

Meanwhile, Ariel promised the others that they would go back to the palace. She told them that she would ask her father to let them go and with her promise the group went back to the kingdom of Atlanta.
When the group came closer to the protection barrier of the kingdom, Ariel became hesitant, she dreamt of going to the human world but now she left before she even entered it. On the spur of the moment the Princess turned around and swam back to the surface, leaving the others behind.
When she stepped on the land, not only she felt the excruciating pain, it felt as she was walking on knifes. Suddenly, Ariel noticed that her skin was glowing, she wondered if it had a connection with her blood. She remembered that her father always said that the royal blood was wonderful privilege and that she should be proud of it.
Ariel wondered she could use the blood, remembering her magic lessons the Princess tried to form a barrier. To her surprise it worked, the pain in her body disappeared. However when she tried to walk, it still felt as she was walking on knifes, her magic wasn't strong enough to cover the whole world.

Years passed and Vance was now a normal high school student. Well, he couldn't exactly be considered normal. After experimenting, Vance and his friends discovered that they were able to maintain their human form without pain as long as they touched water.
Even though this was an easy solution, living a normal human life while constantly having you hand in a glass of water isn't really normal. So to fix this inconvenience, they trained themselves to move around without water. Vance currently held the record of 2 hours without any water. However when the group was at home they preferred to swim around in their huge pool.
In order to go to school, Vance made sure to fabricate some proof that they have a weak health and therefore are not able to attend all lessons. Moreover he made sure to donate aquariums, so they could swim around when needed.Now after one hour of school in human form, they could rest in the aquarium in the classroom, which was conveniently the same classroom for their next subject.
Lan Youzheng was happy to have Vance his memories, but there were some gaps in the memories he received.
'System, will I be able to remember everything later?'
[System is not able to answer that question]

Lan Youzheng wondered how he was going to fix this story. It was completely different from what he knew. Moreover, he had no idea where the protagonist was. Lan Youzheng decided to just go with the flow.
More importantly how was he going to get rid of System, now that he had called him back, System wouldn't leave that that easily. 'Why did I believe that this was going to be easy?'

Ugh...I'm getting sick of studying...Monday the exams will start and it will end on the 24th...I don't think I'll be able to keep my unofficial update schedule of three days...I'll try though...
I really look forward to what will happen in this arc. Absolutely not because I haven't planned anything out or something like that...the main plot points are there but I don't know exactly how everything is going to piece together. I want this definitely to be longer than last arc and with a good ending...
Most of the time I'm really excited for the next part until I remember I am the one who has to write it...I want a machine that writes down that I think...filtered...with correct grammar and spelling...maybe a good speech to text thing will do...now that I think about it...I don't want my thoughts on paper...
