I looked myself up and down in the full body mirror that hung in my room. The leggings clung tightly to my thighs and the crop top showed just enough of my stomach. I patted it as my belly ring shone in the light.

Having a passion for clothes allowed me an array of options but I chose something simple. I tied the laces of my knee high combat boots, grabbed my keys and my phone and headed out. As I got to the car, I put the address in my GPS and called Brian to let him know that I would be there.

"Alright, I'll wait outside for you." He said before hanging up.

It took me about 15 to make it to the house. I parked in the driveway where I saw Brian and Trey standing. I got out of the car and straightened my outfit out.

"Damn Brielle, You had me fooled earlier." He smiled.

"Hi Trey." I smiled at him.

We made our way up the driveway and to the front door where a cloud of smoke hit my face. I followed Brian and Trey through the sea of people that stood in the house to the kitchen where I then saw Red, Chris and a small group of girls. The girls were all laughing and taking shots while the boys smoked.

This is new.

"Brielle! You made it!" Red said from on top of the kitchen counter. "I didn't think your prissy ass would show up." Chris smacked his arm.

"Shut your high ass up Red." One of the girls said. She was a pretty thick brown skin with a bright smile. "Hi, I'm Amber." She smiled brightly at me and shook my hand.

This is all I ever wanted. Someone to give me a chance to show them how nice of a person I was. Not someone who judged me straight off the bat as being a snobby rich bitch. My parents raised Brian and I different than that.

"Hi. I'm Brielle." I smiled.

"Oh girl, I already know a lot about you."

I looked down at my feet. Figures.

"This is Adrian, Chrissy, and Mickie." They all smiled and waved at me as I smiled back.

"Aye nigga! Get the fuck off my counter." I heard a voice yell over the music.

I turned around to meet August's eyes.

"Chill Aug, a nigga was just trying to smoke." Red said as he took another hit of the blunt.

"Yeah? Well, you can smoke with your feet on the ground." August put his hand on my waist and looked down at me as he tried to pass me to get to the fridge.

"I see you made it mama." He said.

"Yeah. I guess I did." I smiled as I looked up at his tall frame hovering over mine.

"Cool, well enjoy." He smirked and walked into the crowd.

I watched his walk away and I bit my lip at the thought of his hands on my waist.

"Oooo, watch out baby girl. Aug is a tough one." Arian said.

I looked at her. "What do you mean?"

"He's... different. It's gonna hard for you to get inside his head like I know your trying to." She smiled. I smiled back at her.

"Just try and stay on his good side. But don't try too hard. He'll notice."

"How do you know all this stuff about him?" I chuckled at her advice.

"He's my cousin." She handed me a red solo cup with god knows what inside off it. I looked questioningly in the cup. She nudged my shoulder.

"Just drink it. It's not too strong. I know you're a newbie." She winked at me and walked over to the boys.
