(Y/N) POV

I am just sitting in my tiny room avoiding the people I live with. They are truly awful people and they're not even my real parents. I was adopted by them two years ago, when I was nine. Before that I was in an orphanage and I well and truly hated it. But this is much worse, when I was adopted by Olaf and Agatha Snow I thought all my troubles would disappear, unfortunately my life got even worse.

—————

"Orphan!" I heard the ghastly Olaf scream out from downstairs, "Get down here and make me my breakfast!"

I solemnly get up off my bed - which is just an old, itchy blanket and a phone book like pillow on the creaky, wooden floor - and make my way downstairs. Awaiting me half way down the stairs is none other then Agatha, who is probably one of the most revoltingly ugly person I've ever laid eyes on. "Get in the kitchen now orphan. Olaf wants his eggs yesterday," she says, spitting in my face. "Yes," I say.
"Yes what?",
"yes, ma'am."

She steps aside as to let me pass. I cautiously make my way pass her but I'm obviously not going to get by without being injured. As soon as I'm at the step below hers, she shoves me so hard that I go tumbling down head first to the bottom. Even though I am in immense pain, I don't even let out a whimper. I am always getting abused by them, physically and emotionally, and every time they do something to me they have the biggest smiles on their faces - the sick bastards. So as to not give them the satisfaction that they want, I don't make a sound when they hurt me. I don't cry, whimper, scream, shout or anything.

"Get up you rotten little orphan," Agatha says walking past me, not even giving me a second glance. When I make it to my feet I almost tumble back down. 'It's probably a fractured ankle,' I think, it wouldn't be the first time. Luckily I've got hidden medical supplies in my room - well it's more like a cupboard - but I'll have to do it later or I'll have worse then a fractured ankle if I don't make the Snow's breakfast now.

I go through the walkway and into the kitchen. I prepare the same breakfast every morning, scrambled eggs, bacon and toast, and if I even mess one of these things up I won't get fed for the next two days. Unfortunately for me I don't get to have the food I serve them. No, I get whatever they didn't eat yesterday, which sometimes is absolutely nothing.

"Hurry up with my breakfast orphan!" Olaf growls at me. Olaf is definitely the ugliest, snarkiest male I've seen in my young life. Agatha and Olaf really are perfect for each other, two toad faced bitches through and through.

I serve the breakfast on a plate and go and serve it to the two retched beings. "Now scram before I lock you in the shed," Olaf says to me.

I walk out of the kitchen, knowing I won't get fed today as they put their leftovers in the bin since I actually browned the toast a little too much yesterday. As I'm about to go back upstairs, I notice a slight glimmer out of the corner of my eye.

What could that be I wonder.
