Kise Ryouta x Reader

On the Midterms exams, she placed 10th on the rankings, and I placed 4th. I was so happy that time, Kasamatsu-senpai and Nakamura-senpai were so proud of me, as well as she. And to celebrate my victory, we went to a mixer, without her knowing. I met different types of girls, and I gave them a little time to chat with me. Beyond my knowledge, she was there, watching me from afar. She immediately left the place, so I didn't have the chance to explain. Wakamatsu-senpai was the one who was able to spot her in these crowds.

When I got home, I saw her crying silently on the living room. But when she saw me, she immediately wiped her tears away and she greeted me with a smile. 'Welcome back, Kise-kun,' she said. 'I'm back,' I said. And we had our dinner together. She didn't managed to look at me, she only looked at three things; on her plate, on the TV on her left side, and on her phone. She immediately lost her appetite and she left the dining table. She walked towards her room and there, she cried again. I wish I could comfort and apologize to her, Mimorichi.

But the next day, she cooked pancakes for our breakfast again. It surprised me, since I know she saw me talking to other girls, flirting with them, and yet she still does her daily routine like nothing happened. She already forgave me, even if I haven't apologized yet. 

That made me think that she can't leave me. 'Kise-kun, if you got tired of me, just tell me... okay?,' she suddenly said, and she left me alone on our house. What could she meant by that? 

It's the final day of the exams, and the ranking will be posted later. She went to my room and she waited outside. I noticed her presence and I immediately went to her. I'll ask her what does she mean when she asked me that silly question. As soon as I got out from my classroom, another classmate of her ran to her and he dragged her with him. 'You have to see this,' he said.

I looked at the hallway where they left. 'That's odd. You normally doesn't care about her,' Nakamura-senpai said, as he patted my back. My fists tightened, and my eyebrows furrowed. 

As I walked towards my home that afternoon, I saw people gathering around the school's bulletin board. I decided to take a look on the board and to my surprise, she placed first on the profession she's been working on. I decided to treat her for once, so I sent her a text message.

'(Y/n)chii!!! Congratulations on being first on (Your profession)!! I want to treat you for today, so please go home early and get ready (/O~<)/ '

That was my first text message to her. I ran as fast as I can to my home and waited for her. But she came home late, with a smile. I asked her where did she went, and she said 'Keisuke-kun treated me for dinner,' . And to my surprise, it hurts.

Mimorichi, I don't know what's going on that day, but I wanted to tell her that she should stay away from Keisukechi. I wanted to tell her that I don't want her to be around Keisukechi so badly," he said, more tears were flowing from his eyes. Mimori just patted his back. She still doesn't know how to comfort him when he's on shut down, even though she's been coming with him on this bar for years. 

"Kise-kun," she uttered. 

"On the third time she caught me going to a mixer, everything changed. On the next day, the both of us learned something. I learned to love her, and she... she learned to leave me. She stopped cooking pancakes for me for breakfast. She started to go to school ahead of me. She stopped making bentos for me. She stopped greeting me when I got home. She stopped hugging me. She stopped buying food for us for dinner. She stopped fixing and cleaning my things. She started to hang out with Keisukechi. She learned on how to keep secrets from me. And it hurts, it hurts so much that I started to feel how she felt when we started dating. 

Everyday, I always bought breakfast for us to eat. But I always see her eating breakfast with Keisukechi. And so I learned to eat breakfast alone.I learned to wake up early to walk to school alone. I learned how to live and survive alone. She taught me that. And that went on for 7 months.

One day, she went to my school. I immediately went to her and hugged her. '(Y/n)chii!!!! Why are you here? You want to be with your handsome boy friend?,' I asked her. She gave me a smile, a weak one. 'Kise-kun, I want a break-up,' she said. I want to ask her why, but I think I know the answer. She already found the happiness she wanted, and it wasn't from me. She gave me one last smile and she started to walk away. I was left there dumbfounded, Mimorichi. 

And I just realized, before she left me, she taught me how to struggle with myself. 

Four years have passed, and I became a doctor. One time, a patient was brought to our ward, remember that Mimorichi? That patient was her, with four gunshots on her vital spots. Before we started the operation, Keisukechi told me that if we were able to save her, he'll give me (Y/n) back. So I did my best back then. But loving her is like a compensated dating, that's just a one time thing," he said, as he chugged another bottle of beer. On that operation, Mimori and Kise failed to save you. 

"But Keisukechi gave me a jar of papers. When I went to my office that day, I decided to read the papers. 

'I hope Kise would kiss me in my forehead '

'I hope Kise would hug me ' 

'I hope Kise would smile at me '

And so on. So many thoughts of her that I wasn't able to do when we were still together. And I regretted that. I wish I could go back in time and correct myself. I want to hug her back and greet her back in a cheerful way like I was used to be. I want to cuddle with her. 

I want to feel loved again by her, Mimorichi, " he said as he drop his bottle of beer down. 

"Maybe you just need a new girl friend Kise-"

"I won't love another girl who can't do better than her," Kise cut Mimori off. You were his last lover, but his first true lover.
