Note: the author is Transgender, so?? idk just thought I'd add that so yall know I'm not just spurting out about a life I know nothing about
"Are you sure that's really a good idea Tyler? I mean, I know creepypastas are fake, but what if he isn't?" fifteen-year-old Joseph Gonzales asked his best friend, fifteen-year-old Tyler Hawkes. "I've been working on this ritual all week Jo, I have to perform it tonight! It's the new moon!"
"Personally, I think you're an idiot. There is no way he is going to accept a doll as a sacrifice for what you're wanting. A full transition, dick and everything like that? You should just give up your soul!" another chimed in. This one was named Lily. "Hey, just because you don't think he will take my offering, doesn't mean he won't!" Tyler fought back with his friends after taking a bite out of his peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich. "I'm totally going to come to school tomorrow with a seven-inch dong that will make Jo's four-inch noodle cry with jealousy!"
"Shut it! You know I'm larger than that!" Jo playfully punched Tyler in the shoulder, who was laughing hysterically. Lily was laughing as well. They all sat in the back of the lunchroom, other friends talking amongst themselves at the table. "Hey, if you need someone to be there just in case something goes wrong..." Jo's words wandered off; he took things like this seriously. He was pagan, and although he didn't mess with dark magic, something like this was something that he wanted to be there for his friend for. "Thanks, but my mom would kill me for having someone over at three in the morning." Tyler didn't want anyone there. Especially Joseph, who would distract him, telling him he was performing his own ritual wrong.
"We can sneak in the back door, it leads right to the basement anyway!" Lily argued. For some reason, they really wanted to be there. Tyler really should have accepted their proposal... maybe things wouldn't have turned out the way they did.
"Really guys, it's fine. I'll be okay. I doubt anything drastic will happen anyways. When have my rituals ever worked?" Tyler laughed. And with that, Lunch was over. As Tyler walked alone to his next class, he listened to people around him gossip about him. Usually, he didn't mind, but he was alone and didn't have someone to talk to as a distraction. "Did you know that apparently, she thinks she is a guy?" one guy spoke. "Really? It is a tranny?" "Yeah, what a freak." they both laughed, Tyler could feel the boys' eyes on him.
Tyler took a deep breath as he continued walking. There was no use telling them off, he was used to words like that. He didn't overhear conversations like that too often, but he knew how often he was talked about. It was a small school, word got around quickly and since he was the only transgender kid in the school, he would get picked on. Tyler's next class was English, with his homeroom teacher, Nikk. She wasn't the worst teacher and actually kept Tyler accountable for doing his work. It was nice.
"Alright, since last time we meet, we worked on your ten-page essay, today we will be reading Othello. Get a book and meet in the theater room. You have five minutes." While all the other students in class talked with their friends, Tyler silently grabbed his sketchbook along with the book they'd be reading and took place in the room down the hall. Thankfully, Tyler chose a small character and didn't have to act out too often. He took the time in class to draw in his sketchbook mindlessly. It ended up being a messy sketch of Slenderman, along with two characters named Tim and Brian from a web series called Marble Hornets. Before he could add more, his part in the book had entered the scene, and he was acting out his part for the rest of class. Thankfully nobody in this class was a huge asshole.
His next two classes dragged on, but Tyler didn't mind. He was away from his house, that's all that mattered. But Tyler couldn't avoid the inevitable; he had to go back sometime. Jo's grandmother had always loved to drive Tyler home, he enjoyed talking with the elder, she reminded him of his late grandmother, who had passed recently.
"Thank you so much for the ride home Grandma, I'll see you tomorrow! Oh and Jo, I'll text you about that thing after I do it"
"Farewell Tyler! See you then!"
"Yeah okay bye."
Tyler walked up the driveway to his house slowly. He let the two drive off before he even dared to go inside his home. As he opened the door, he was met with the smell of spaghetti, and dinner rolls. He smiled, knowing that this was his favorite meal. The best meal before the beginning of his new life, although, Tyler didn't know that.
Hours of being misgendered by his own parents took a toll on Tyler, he almost didn't perform his ritual. He almost wanted to put it off until next month. But... Tyler couldn't sleep. He laid in his bed, tears rolling down his face as he listened to the howling of the wind.
He didn't want to live like this. Ever since Tyler had come out his depression had gotten worse, if this worked, he would live such a happier life. He wouldn't have these large balls of fat on his chest, he wouldn't get called female by his parents and classmates, he wouldn't wish he was dead.
It was two am, Tyler still had time. Tyler first grabbed his notebook, to make sure he grabbed everything he needed for the ritual. Candles, a knife, a few band-aids, a sacrifice, matches, holy water, and salt. Tyler also had recently whittled a cross and had it blessed by a local church, he grabbed that as well.
Tyler's text ringtone blared as he walked outside, all his items in a bag that he was carrying. "Shit- I forgot to turn that off!" thankfully, his parent's room was on the other side of the house. Tyler walked out onto the back porch, and into the shed that was in his backyard. It was empty because his family had been planning on taking it down. It was old and breaking apart. Tyler walked inside and lit the twenty candles he had put in his bag. They were for light, he didn't want to use artificial light, like his phone. Speaking of phone, someone had texted him
2:37 am Little p : Hey, you still doing that ritual?
Tyler sighed, of course, Jo stayed up, he never went to bed on time.
