"Seulgi?" You called as you walked through the huge backstage area. Your high heels made various clicking noises against the hard floor. You stumbled a bit when you felt a faint tugging on your hand.
"Eomma, where's my other mommy?" You took a look at your young daughter, her small hand clasped in yours as the two of you made your way around the area trying to find her.
"Mina," you turned to face her, putting your hands firmly on her tiny shoulders. As you looked into her big brown eyes you saw her mother, her round eyes reflecting your hope for the future. "Eomma is going to look for mommy, so stay here." You gave her her teddy bear and a big hug before going to look for the dressing rooms with a smile on your face.
You closed one door and opened another, peeking through the doorframe into the pink tainted light. It seemed to be an unused practice room of some sort. Inside, you saw a couple of metal chairs and a radio, and then two figures. They seemed to be having an intimate exchange, their bodies molded together, but you needed to find your girlfriend.
"Excuse me?" The figures slowly broke apart, turning to stare at you with half-lidded eyes. One hovered over the other, her ebony hair framing her sharp face. And then you realized-
That person was Seulgi hovering over Joy.Your Seulgi, the light of your life, the mother of your child. She had her lips locked with Joy's only a moment before you had entered. It made you wonder if this was a daily occurrence..
"Y/N," Seulgi said lowly and shook her head at the situation. Joy simply stared in shock. You stood there, awaiting her response. In return, you were met with silence. "Listen-" She started, but you didn't let her finish. In the end, you wished you had.
"H-how long has this been going on?" You asked her as tears began clouding your eyes. "How long have you been doing..."
"Me?" A glint shone in Joy's eyes as she stared up at you. "Why would she want to kiss your dirty mouth? You were vulnerable." Tears flowed down your face freely as she spoke, her voice as sharp as a knife.
"While I was pregnant?" You whispered, screaming at yourself to stop crying, screaming at yourself not to be as weak as she makes you out to be. Seulgi only nodded, biting her lip in the way that used to make you giggle. Only then, the gesture made you cry harder. Because you weren't hers like she was yours.
"Y/N, I wanted to tell you," she looked up at you with sympathy, or more so pity. "But you seemed so happy."
"As if that makes it any better," you choked through your tears and forced a laugh. "What about Mina?" You asked softly and forced yourself to look her in the eyes.
Seulgi smiled reassuringly and took Joys's hand in hers.
