Hey my name is Chris I'm a low-ranking landstrider there are five ranks. landstriders go out into the Wasteland of fire and collect resources like food water and other things like that

The wasteland of Fire. 100 years ago  the world got into a war we created a bomb the bomb was supposed to set off 100 diameter fire but they weigh underestimated they made the fire immune to water and ice so it swept through the nation's quickly destroying everything in its path

The way that people survive this they created underground bunkers

100 years later. it took us a long time to figure out how to get water and food but food was easier see food has a chemical called Hydrolight so Hydrolight was supposed to keep food from rotting I'm getting old but it was immune to fire so the food didn't burn but the houses and everything else did water was less easy there was about 10 ft of Ash and under that 2 feet of dirt to get to clean water and took us a long time to create an extractor which extract water from the underground

See I live in the south side of the wasteland of Fire that's what we call it

I have a pet to it's sort of like a lizard. Raptor? let's just say Mini dragon it keeps me company it's a really cool though it does this little thing where it warms up its throat and then shoots a little burst of flame but he can make the flame vanish in a second he is awesome

See I'm a rank 1 landstrider so I collect metal for other ranks collect other stuff like food and water but for now until I can collect a certain amount of scrap metal I'm stuck in rank 1 I mean I'm not complaining some of the people down here are really nice but then you got the scrap Junkies they hog all the scrap and then they go to the next rank and then there's new scrap junkies it's sort of hard to get scrap you have to be good at looking for it

But enough with my backstory maybe we'll go into it later but for now let's get into the good stuff
