Sometimes i forget

Sometimes I forget
That your not here anymore
And I'll make tea
And get two cups out and pour them both full
But it's only when I finish pouring the second one do I remember you're gone
Sometimes I forget you're gone
And I'll roll over in bed and wonder why you're not there
And it'll hit me like a train
That you're not here
Beside me
Sometimes I forget that you're gone
And I'll come home
A big smile on my face
Ready to tell you a funny store I herd
But when I close the door
I remember again
But sometimes I forget about you
Only for a minute
Only for a second
But then you memory rushes back
And I miss you
And remember you're gone
